Mr. Reed, many of us disagree.

I like Stewart, but this is no way to win. Imagine if Alessi had bonsai'd stewart. Can you imagine the howls?

Stewart needed a 4 point clipping. He would still hold the lead, his dignity would still be intact, and, he would have the chance to prove he's the best of the best. Stewart should have begged for a 4 point clipping. It's his (and brook's) redemption from Chisolm's sheer stupidity.

Instead... what we will most likely get is a crowing Stewart and a preening Brooks after Saturday night.

Trust me... there will be a lot of fans who will see not much difference between Stewart and Bobby Bonds. A cheater is a cheater is a cheater.

true, chisolm did what he did to affect the championship for his team, not himself yet the punishment given was to an individual that had no affect on the overall team or championship that Chisolms actions achieved.

The the punishment does not fit the crime, the punishment should have been to given stewart 2nd place and reed the win, so the team was punished becasue thats why chisolm did it for the team... it would have been tied going into the last race and it would have been winner takes all as it is now Chisolms plan worked for Brooks and co. he gets punished which has no affect on the championship despite what he did having a huge affect for the championship and his team.

Even though at the time of the said incedent JS was 2.51 seconds ahead of Reed?
Honestly, the only thing Chisolm effected was his own reputation. The race for the win was over when Mr. Stewart made a nice clean pass on Mr. Reed after Mr. Reed put Mr. Stewart into the tuff blocks.

I really don't care who wins the championship. My only hope is that James beats Chad so the SLC is irrelevant, or Chad wins and James comes in 4th or worse.

I only care about that so we don't have to listen to dipshits on either side whine for all eternity about how the championship should have an asterisk.

A lapper who was punted in the 1st turn by Rick Johnson set up the greatest race of all time as he blocked RJ till Bailey cought up.......just sayin there could be lots of road blocks by many different riders that could help Speedy Reedy.

My prediction is Reed will go for broke (Vegas Baby!) and win and Bubba will play it safe and cruse in for the title.

If this happened to Stewart, he would have just caught up to Reed and passed him for the win. KC didn't slow Reed down THAT much. If Reed is such a good rider then how did he let James pass him in the first place? Plus no one mentions how Reed almost pushed James off of the track on a NOT so clean pass previous to KC's thing. James will have to fall in order for Reed to win. Just like always.

To those who are talking mess about KC. Fact is... HE'S riding in the SX and YOU are at home on the internet, lol!

As for an asterisk? CR's whole championship last year is an asterisk because JS was unable to race. If he was, things would be a bit different.
