What’s wrong with my beta fish?

I got two the same day and one has always been active and loves to eat but this one when first got her thought she was dead but got new tank and Heater and she came back.
They are both in there own tanks. I have two 3.5 gallon ones and use tap water with beta conditioner.

However now few months later for just the last 3 days out of nowhere she is always at bottom of tank and barely moving. She won’t eat.

I’ve changed her tank water a few times this past week to see if that would help in case didn’t mix the conditioner right or something. It didn’t help.

Don’t know what to do. She just stays at the bottom and now she is nose down but is still alive.

Any suggestions?

Make sure water is equal temps when changing water, they shock easy. Ph is critical. There is meds to add to water from local pet store.

The one in the pic did not have a tin foil hat. That may be the problem.

Ours got really slow and sluggish over winter and my wife thought it was the cold. Once it warmed up he's a lot more active. You said you had a heater, but that's what happened with our fish.

Yeah been googling and watching videos also. Kind of all over the place. So many different things. Was hoping someone might point out something I didn’t hear or think about.

Yeah thought that might be it also. Added some warmer water to tank didn’t help. Oh well.
