Bump looking for riding buddy’s. Just bought a 250f and am not from the area so I don’t know folks here. Live in St Paul ride mostly mx and enjoy woods riding too.

Yep. Used to go there all the time. Loved it there! I give them a call once a year just for kicks to see when open practice is. They are good people for sure.

Southeast WI for me. Raced all over 2000-2006. After looking at all the photos, I was inspired to dig through some albums
Des Moines I think, only raced there once
Correction: about 95% sure this was in Cedar Rapids, IA

Originally Racine, WI. Raced Lake Geneva every single Friday like nothing else in the world mattered. Transplant to the family farms of Potosi/Platteville of southwest Wisconsin.
Now travel around the globe building tracks, I don’t work a day in my life, I live to build what I had always dreamed of having when I was a kid but was not so gifted/fortunate.
Great topic, enjoyed reading

Funny you popped up on here. I just came across a picture yesterday or the day before from out at Marty’s when you were on Brett’s Kawi 450.

Hey man! I'm originally form Central Illinois and I also now live in St. Paul. I'm pretty much always riding and enjoy riding with people (even carpool would be awesome!)

Shoot me a text 309-258-4671. My name's Nick. I'm heading to ride BCMX in Cambridge today. I would love to get connected and find some riding buddies!!!

Chippewa Falls, WI .

Started out in 1973 riding NWRA (Northern WI Racing Association) Stone Lake, Strum, Jim Falls, Thorp and the toughest sand track in WI Lake Wissota. Rubber bungy start pic below from about 1975 at Lake Wissota.

Raced on every District 16 WI tracks and few District 23MN tracks in late 70's and early 80's albeit most are gone. Still ride Azzy, they still have plenty of rocks to go around. :Wink

Raced District 23 mid 90's to 2012 and then switched to the Racer X Vet series, plenty of vets to race against there.

I’m in Green Bay, WI. Been racing since ‘91. Currently race +25A and +30A. Mainly just race in D16, but have done some racing in Illinois and Minnesota as well. I see a lot of my buddies growing up in boxvan446’s photos. Here’s a shot of me from this past weekend’s race in Mountain, WI.

Yeah, I remember racing against a lot of those guys over the years. It was a lot of fun and not sure how I ever had the time to do all that racing. Really fortunate to have been around during the 2000-2006 era. Economy was strong, turnouts were huge, made a lot of friends. I also remember using the wisconsinmx website. At least, that's what I thought it was called. It's been gone for 5-6 years now I bet. Must be getting old when you start to reminisce about how good the past was....

I remember going to those races. Drew a huge crowd and some very good riders.

We used to snowmobile in that pit as well.

You were looking good Saturday! Sad that Scotty was so pumped on having a turnout of 250, that used to be a low turnout!

I’m with you about the good old days. We may be getting older, but those were definitely better days as far as MX goes. Wisconsinmx was great. Too bad it faded out, but that was before social media. T-fish in this thread was the Big Lenny of wisconsinmx. Laughing

Thanks Brian! I didn’t see you on the track?! Agree on the turnouts. I remember Denmark getting 600+ and Aztalan 800+ at one time or another. It is sad, but I feel like there’s been a slight resurgence. I’m hoping so anyway.
