He got 21st in the 1st Moto & 18th in the 2nd Moto. 3 points on the day. I was impressed with the kid.

It was a tough-brutal track.

I am a Jerry fan but lets be realistic here. Peick got the support he did because he was getting top 10s outdoors his rookie year on his own equipment and program. Finishing in the points is something to be very proud of and a real accomplishment, but up to this point Jerry's best overall finishes are a 19th and a pair of 21st since turning pro in 2016. In the harsh world that is pro racing those results don't often move you up the ladder.

kid will always be a 2 stroke folk hero and to do it on what he did, classic. He seems to be doing better, so who knows where he may end by season's end and onto next year. Hard to not hope for the best for him.

I think some of the factory guys should do some bike cleaning, they would be more relaxed and not so tensed up.. I know when I wash my bike I feel relaxed..

I didn't realize he had been a pro that long since I don't follow social media all that much.
Still hope he's able to get at least a "semi-factory support". He reminds me of a throw back old school moto guy. Maybe it's because he rode that 85 CR250 & have that image of him.
Non the less he could have more potential on better equipment.

Yea that's true of so many dudes through the years. He's just on the edge of that bubble that exists where guys are given a chance for fill-in rides. Reminds me a lot of Mitchell Oldenburg who toughed it out a couple years on his own and made the most of a fill-in spot with TLD. But Mitchell's SX results were much better even as a privateer.
