I don't care what each riders fastest lap is, I want to know the gap. If you want to show a lap time, show the last one.

Not on my screen on Gold, it was 90% fastest lap. Not even fastest last lap, a totally irrelevant number, especially on a day like today. And I posted this hoping someone from NBC sees it and fixes it.

I have been outspoken about how much I enjoy the gold app, but I thought the same thing about "fastest lap". Last lap time would be a good replacement and cycle between that and gap to next guy.

Finally the 1st outdoor national of the season is here and we all have something to complain about! Angry Fucking Shaheen and Weege...the stupidly over-watered track conditions...NBC gold....why do they even HAVE a leader board anyway? It totally "sucked ass". I only freaked out when it suddenly showed Tomac in like 15th place all of the sudden but a few seconds later it reset and showed him up in 2nd. Something went haywire with the whole system.

THANK YOU! This drove me insane. If they cycled it every 5 secs or so I’d still hate it but to have it up there for 5min at a time is just asinine. Who makes these decisions?

For the record, I didn't have it on my screen either on the Gold app and kept wanting to know the gap as well. I don't want to make a big issue about it, but I did feel it was lacking. But I just wanted to confirm you weren't the only one who didn't have the gap shown either. Kinda odd.

Yeah I also got annoyed at the fastest lap. It was on my screen most of the time too. After the first few laps no one is going faster with a track like that so it’s pointless. Show the gap to the leader.

I didnt want to start another broadcast sucks thread so I'll just get his off my chest here... Does NBC not have enough money to supply their camera people with a fucking stack of microfiber cloths to clean the lens of their fucking cameras??? This drove me crazy. What is the aversion to wiping the lens? And don't they make attachments for these cameras to keep water off the lens?

Someone at Scott or Oakley is missing a great product placement with this. They should make tear offs for the cameras. j/k

I came here to start a “STOP SHOWING THE FUCKING FASTEST LAP GRAPHIC” thread. I’m glad others feel the same way. It’s useless to know that the guy in 8th place had a fast lap at some point earlier in the Moto. Plus, it was the dominant info that they showed. Wtf?

I think it would be safe to assume they were having issues with live timing. Ferris caught Anderson.... oh wait that’s just our messed up timing. Also there were a few instances where riders changed names or there were a few of the same rider.

Hey guys, the 60 man camera crew has to have smoke breaks and lunch time. They probably all have to stop by the asterisks truck for a sore back and headache from working on a Saturday. All you people do is whine and complain. Have a little compassion for the crew!
