I really wanted to see him put on a charge and see what he could do. I think as fans of the sport we were almost "robbed" in that sense. The championship was over from the moment he picked up the bike with his bars like that and/or any other bike issues.

I think most fans wanted to see that - bike wasn’t rideable at speed or he would have.

Edit to add: I personally didn’t feel robbed, just confirmation that even when it seems all hope is lost fate can come in and change it all up.

It just seems like AC has the worst luck. Go crash like that 100x and only during the main event his bars would get mangled like that.

I was nervous that whole race and then my stream from the gold app froze due to our crappy internet and when it came back I seen Adam riding super slow and my stomach just dropped. I’m a big AC fan I love how he carries himself and just seems like such a nice dude the few times I’ve met him. I believe if he doesn’t move up next year he’s gonna win the championship unless he gets hurt which I pray doesn’t happen

I was worried that he was still going to go for it and get hurt!
And i didn't want to see that so im glad he had the maturity to rationalize the situation and live to fight another day.
It sucks but he really doesn't have to dwell long , how many of us wouldn't trade live with him right now?
He is a Top pro , everyone loves him he is a millionaire, he is on arguably the best bikes , he is Healthy and he can win the championship this summer!!!

After AC went down, there was definitely a deflating feeling for me because I was rooting for him and then the 450 main was basically a snoozer.

I was just hoping he didn’t hurt his shoulder again. He slammed pretty good on it.

Call me a pussy but I've shed a tear or two when they showed Adam at the end, still fighting on that twisted bike to the finish line. Heartbreaking.

Wow. Tough, crowd.

It's not as if some circus promoter pays him to dress up in bright colors and ride around performing tricks on a small vehicle in front of paying audiences.

Similar story, but I ran down stairs for two seconds because I figured AC had it in the bag, and then came back upstairs to him cruising around on a broken bike.
