It may be hard to sense the heaviness without a controller in your hand. But this tune is rad-as, and should be experienced. I believe this is a preview of what the new update will feel like.
This right here is how the 125s were meant to feel. Keep in mind anytime you switch bikes in a lobby, you have to exit and re-enter, otherwise the physics are sped up for some reason.
Just treat 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear as if they were 2nd, 3rd, and 4th on a real 125 and the sounds will stay wrapped out
yet ANOTHER tease from the devs and then a lengthy monthly wait.
decided to play the other night after playing mesx2 lately and one thing i’ve noticed about all out that needs to be changed is you can’t feel the power of the bike when accelerating. we all know 3rd gear is a turd but it’s more than that, somehow the bike can shoot fast but at the same time there’s plenty of times where the bike just doesn’t have a “digging into the dirt when gassing it feeling”. it’s hard to describe because it isn’t necessary the speed of the bikes, it’s the feeling of acceleration. idk lol
I've spent a lot of time free riding though messing with the air physics. I put together this video and sent it in and mx vs atv chose the silliest clip in the vid to repost

*** This will be the last video I plug for awhile here on the forum.
I feel this game has not always received a fair shake, and felt people who did reviews of this game the week it came out were irresponsible. I waited over a year to make this video, and with the new update looming, I felt this would be ample time to share my thoughts.
If you agree or disagree, leave a comment on the video itself. It is only fair that those of us who actually put our due diligence in this game should be the ones who have an opinion.
Thank you as always, see yal in the free ride lobbies. Much love
Pit Row
I inquired on Twitter if they would possibly bring Endurocross back as that seemed to be pretty popular with fans back in Untamed. But they said that was not happening. Then teased other higher priority things are coming.
Sigh. Just the same ol' same ol'. Very frustrating. We know what everyone wants won't happen (at this point I just don't believe it will ever happen) so why not try a smaller, less popular series like EX?
I really thought the Endurocross suggestion was a good one. Eric Perronard is one of the best guys in the world to work with and I'm sure the series would enjoy the exposure so maybe they could make it happen. But it got shut down immediately. I think they said they would love to but had bigger priorities. It kinda irked me cause the smartass in me wanted to say "What, Slash's Snakepit SX"? Which no one asked for. But then again, anytime you can partner up with someone that huge in entertainment and bring new eyes to the game you do it, whether the hardcore fans want it or not. That's smart business even if it made no sense to us MX fans. So I just kept quiet.
Turn on xbox --> click Mx vs ATV --> rippin dirt 2 seconds later
Amazing
I don't know. To me, there is constant patches and updates but not that much content. I, personally, would prefer an emphasis on more tracks and various disciplines. Replicas would be great but Im tired of asking. But they could do Nationals, Classic Supercross tracks, Endurocross, Gncc, Hard Enduro. I'm not just talking free ride with off road stuff either. Actual races.
I think the engine is fine. Sure it's always cool to improve it but not at the expense of adding more tracks.
Just curious how that works priority wise to the developers.
I was also told the next phase of ai improvements should of made it into this patch. If they can get the ai more consistent and less reckless it would make the game way better.
I play offline but I think even the online guys can enjoy a fun championship mode. Milestone has their career set up much like real life which is great. All Out doesn't have the career set up to give as realistic of a feel to it, but if the ai is decent that would be a huge step in the right direction.
I am curious as well, is patterns of dirt/mother nature on someones property untouchable with respect to use in a video game? Is the recreation of someones property fair use? GTA games recreate many famous property sites and then just changes the name to "liberty city" or "los santos". After all, property owners own those buildings that are being recreated. How can a motocross track be any less fair use?
Lawyers suck, ruin all the fun.
Fact is, when the team does replicas, RC Goat Farm and JS7 Compound, the game is light years better than their created tracks.
It's just a fact at this point.
Yknow if replicas can't happen I would really like an honest answer as to why from either the developers or heck, even DC. You'll never hear it from Rainbow though because whether it's in their plans or not they are always going to act like it's possible and never completely shut it down. That would hurt their sales.
But silence and doing nothing for years tells the story. We were also told an official licensed SX game was impossible. So there you go.
For the record, I hope they prove me wrong. If they don't jump on it I bet Milestone does within 3 years.
We'll see.
