Oh yea Marvin said ON THE PODIUM that hes going to retaliate vs Webb. This could get interesting if instead of pulling over for a KTM rider to win a championship, he punts a KTM rider into the stands to lose a championship...
Marv said that about Anderson last year after Anderson put him on the ground a few times. Marv never didn anything... he probably doesn’t even know how to ground someone

He took out Eli, the one guy who doesn’t ride anyone dirty until they have it coming. Example Deano on the 250 trying to clean Eli out and Webb last year cross jumping. Both deserved it.

I do know after that the hits were a bit lopsided and Marv needs to grow a pair and hit back.

To me it was silly for Webb to start something when the big picture is staring him in the face
Yeah it was silly for Coop to react like that, he has the most to lose. It's not like Marvin's first pass was dirty, it's just a crowded corner at the start of the race.

He basically gave Marvin an excuse to do whatever the fuck he likes, and it's not like Marvin hasn't taken people out before.

Has Marvin passed Webb one time all season? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think he has. Cool post though.

I think marv passed him 3 or more times in that single moto.

Anyway it shakes out, this season continues to be the making of a great one.

I'm a Coop fan but I can honestly say that Marvin didn't make any overly aggressive moves on Coop in that moto. Marv passed Coop aggressively but cleanly. I was kinda shocked at how aggressive Coop went after Marv. I figured i had just missed something, but after rewatching I saw nothing by Marv that I thought was even close to being over the line. It's just one of those sports where being extra nice does you more harm than good. Coop is a fierce competitor and is there to win. Thats why I like the guy. I cant say he's always jusrified, but that's how he is and he's cocky. Especially when hes on top. Marvin is just too nice out there at times. A lot of his speed and skill are wasted from not being fierce and aggressive enough I think. A nice guy and good sportsmanship. I admire it. But supercross is a brutal sport. Being too nice can cost you as much or more than being an asshole.

Marv needs to be like Kevin Windham. Clean rider, nice guy, but if you pulled a bullsh!t move on him, he would park you at the next opportunity. I think David V would confirm.

Remember what Marv did to Tomac? Hes no innocent bystander victim. That being said all this mr niceguy shit the last few years is for the birds. RV was the last multi time champ with an attitude. It was fine when Dungey wanted to be nice to everyone and podium his way to championships, that was him, but when everyone started copying him then it got lame with a whole group of people doing that. F all that this is supercross... Lets see some rivalries, drama, battles, rubbin is racing. People mostly agree the 80s were the golden era.. well thats when Honda had a whole team of top guys who would all take eachothers heads off to win.
I think if you went back and watched it over you would find none of the guys in the age of RJ, Ward and Lechien would have tried punting each other in the back like Webb did to Marv when he almost t-boned him and that leaving another rider in the dirt was pretty rare compared to now.

Partially probably because no-one wanted to deal with an angry dogger post-race, but also because I think there was a lot more respect than there is now. If I was Marv, I'd have been laying the law down in the team truck post-race or at very least letting Webb know the gloves were off for the rest of the year. You're right to point out Marv has form as well, Webb might have done well to remember that...

I'm more of a Webb fan than Marv bit I will agree that Cooper took it a little far. Honestly though I was impressed with how hard Marv kept trying and kept his cool post race. The sport needs more bar banging at the front and it sure as heck is entertaining to watch!

Marv made a slightly aggressive pass and then blocked Webb the next few laps until Webb punted him.

What is the big deal?

He knows Marv is his biggest threat so he made an aggressive pass back. To be honest I dont think he meant to take him off the track.

Webb had the inside and Marv could have let off the gas. Marv didnt so the collided.

I've watched every single race for as long as I can remember, so yeah, I've seen it. If Eli wanted to take him out, he would have. Don't be stupid. Sorry your favorite rider is retired now, BTW.

Get real. Marvin made a pass and Webb set out on a war path to take him out. He rode like an emotional teenage girl.

wasn't it CW that had friction with a Yamaha teammate and was pitting out behind the semi in his own EZup?

The fact is that it is hard to make the arguement with a straight face that ET is the “one guy who dosen’t ride anyone dirty” when he spent a whole race trying to crash Dungey from the front instead of racing for the win and proving he was faster but only lost because of points. Now we remember him for something else.

Maybe I just see things differently.

Webb was riding like a little bitch, plain and simple.

Marv put a perfectly acceptable pass on him and then Cooper went berserk. Never been a fan of Marv but I hope he absolutely lays Webb out next race.

HAHA teenage girl had Marv covered-- catching him through the whoops every lap. Marvin riding like his typical self (not racing forward but trying so hard to keep him behind) and got bumped off the track.

It was pretty awesome actually.

It's funny how many people who actually race with Marv don't agree with how he rides, yet there are so many of you on here (Mostly from Europe) who defend him.

I wonder what KTM said about this. I wonder what Aldon does this week. I wonder if Marvin has a chance to smoke Coop to win the championship he takes it. I wonder if he has to pull over for Webb to win the championship he doesnt do it this time. I wonder if he retaliates next race or if its squashed this week. I wonder if they take it out this week in practice. So many questions...
