LOL I bough the van new in 1987 and I never thought about it as vintage, but now that I look at it I realize at the age of 56 I am vintage too. Cool Cool Laughing

Hahahah, the Hiaces always pulled birds. Some mags, lowered, a decent sound system... In Newie, you didn't even need to say you rode Moto if you drove a van.Laughing

Dirtbike + Van = (the most effective turnoff money can buy)^2. It's exponentially effective!

Now if you've got a lifted diesel that runs like shit, a Juul, and compulsively yell "lets GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" when anything even remotely interesting happens you'll be fighting poon off with a spare set of handlebars bro.

With that said I sill recommend the van. A Sprinter was the first thing I bought when I got out of school and it was the best thing I ever did, I'm never going back to a truck for hauling bikes.

I'd really like to get a van also, I've been thinking about it, but it would have to be my daily driver which is fine with me, but I dont think it would help me with girls (I'm young like you too) lol. Plus the kidnapper stigma is kind of annoying, I dont really give a shit, but I feel like maybe I would regret it. Maybe I'll buy a van and then buy a cheap car a few months later or something.

This made me lol especially the second paragraph lmao. But I have a serious question: Why does adding a dirt bike to the van make it MORE of a turnoff??

We all had em here and used to think we were killing it when we'd convoy to go riding somewhere..
Some of the best times of my life are tied in to owning my van..
Some racing related, some not haha.. Tinted windows were a must too haha

The bed installs over top of the bikes if you only have 2 in there ?

Ya know some equations just have to be derived experimentally and don’t have a great way of being explained by theory. Laughing

For the OP here’s a couple pics of my setup, I just finished my bed platform and it can be raised and lowered to whatever height I need. Before I got this done I just threw an air mattress next to my bike, but now I can sleep with two in there no problem. Getting the back all set up is a long and never ending project, but it’s pretty nice to have once it’s all done.

Cheers man, hahaha, "tarted up"Laughing .
The one I had before that had nicer "lexus" style lights on the back, plus a full Alpine system with DDDrive 6.5" Splits, two 10" subs and two amps built into a custom bed. It was a short-wheelbase but you could fit two bikes EZ-UP and all the other shit no worries.

Woohoo

Only old-mate that was driving my van got hurt, even though he tagged 3 oncoming cars and a tree.

He hurt his leg but made a full recovery.

Became more of a fuckwit.

Yep, have to agree with you guys. I am on Van number SIX. Smile

There was a time when Vans ruled the Motocross pits.
I never got away from that just because they weren't cool anymore and people thought SUVs looked better. What a joke! Grinning

Yeah that van is so cool I wish I still had my 1977 Chevy van.

You have kept that thing in Tip-Top shape.

Good job! Cool
