JLaw has fans because he isn't some vanilla douche bag who lives for thanking his sponsors on the podium. That is why he has his fans. It also helps that he has more natural talent than he obviously knows what to do with.

yep, but gold isnt a flavor.

Bradhsaw, and Mataisevich flipped each other off, threw bikes at one another, and had some of the most blatant take outs in history! And no fines, or suspension there....
Love, or hate J-law, I do believe he got a bit hosed on this one....
No fines are you kidding me? Do a little research and then come back with an arguement.

The deal at the Troy Lee rig was definately suitable. But this is a bit Stiff....
I think you might be quite a bit off with how much money it was. Its not a stiff penalty a t all. He was on probation and messed up while on probation

The punching thing? Dont think so, that was a year probation I believe. Then he rolled the car, another probation. Then he got in a fight with the TLD team, which he is currently on probation for if im not mistaken.

I thought the Damon/Matisiavich was close to $10,000

It Could be. I just read in two different interviews from a google search it was 2. And where he said "You can fine me $2,000 for the rest of the season, I hate the guy". Something to that effect.
Either way, at this point, I agree to disagree... Haha Thing is, JL is loved, and hated. But if, or untill he seriously hurts someone with his antics Ill enjoy to watch him. He has mad style, and no doubt he wants to win. I obviosly dont agree with everything he does, but hes a trip to watch.... And read about Wink

No, I said "if, or untill he seriously hurts someone with his antics Ill enjoy watching him".
And yes, i dont mind watching someone be agressive, as long as he doesnt seriously hurt someone. And Im sure thats not what hes out there to do. Does he care if he ruffles some feather, hell no. Does he care if he hurts someone Badly. Im sure he would...

The biggest thing I always hate to see is someone waiting a lap for someone to come around just to jack with them. When the time came for me to race for money, there was plenty of slamming and crap going on. The guys I did it with that were serious about winning and racing didn't wait a lap to get someone back. They did it the next week when the race was going on and they wanted past the guy in front that did it to them the week before. The guys that would wait around to fu@k with you the next lap were never the guys that were serious. I move a guy out and he falls down over the berm, I would expect him to move me out the next chance he got, not coast around the track waiting for me that moto. J-Law would earn so much more respect from hardcore guys if he would have put his head down and caught back up and passed a bunch of guys instead of jacking around like he did.

I think the guys that have raced hard and worked hard would agree that it is bull$hit.

Nicely put, unless you race you simply would not understand this is unacceptable. If you race and think its cool to do the things JLaw does then you are most likely an outcast on your local racing circuit. Real racers with a genuine heart and an honorable disposition follow unwritten rules in MX and in life and we all know what they are.. or at least the true racers and real men (and women) do.

Thanks for the sanity!

He is actually suspended due to fear that he would probably find a way to finish in between Weimer and Dungey. I get the feeling that the AMA really wants Dungey to win this thing and history shows he has trouble doing it by himself.

I don't know what is more pathetic....
The way people argue on here like 5 year olds or the way that Lawrence is pissing away his career.

Or the way that you try and slyly dig up this thread again to get this place heated.
