I tried an ohlins shock that fit my 2018 and it won’t fit my 2019. It looked like it might work, but reservoir hit the frame.

FINALLY sold my 16 (got bent over to make it happen) so now do I go ahead and pick up a 19 or wait on a 20? I doubt I can wait that long for the 20.

No way I could wait!!! I'm excited for the 2020 bike, hope some of the refinements can be applied to the 19's...

Does anybody run full synthetic oil? If so does it effect your clutch? Years ago I ran full synthetic honda oil in my woods racing 400ex and destroyed my clutch daily.. Been gun shy ever since...

2019 450KX manual recommends this as one of the oils you can run.
I'm running it with good success and no clutch issues.

+1 on the oil above, although I've been running the 5w-40, no issues in 70+ hours on my 16 or the 20 hours on my 19. Is all I've ran in both after break in.

Changed my fork oil at 10 hours today. I think it was less then 310 in mine aswell maybe 260-270? I replaced it with the same showa oil A1500 an put one 0,52 spring in. Then backed the compression from 8-14 as stock and just rode it at home. The fork feels very plush and are holding up good. Looking forward to test it on a track, but it sure felt very good.

Im thinking about the ride engineering link aswell. I had one in my 15 but as i remember it wasnt really noticable on that bike

I don't have the Link on mine, but I will say the bike turns on a DIME with the Ride 21.5mm offset clamps.

I put the 52 springs in the front.. I'm 180 vet a, and it seems to be a bit too firm, but I'm splitting hairs here... Backed off the comp 2, slowed the rebound down 1-2. This helped. Rear shock seems ok.. I'm @ 1 3/4 on the high speed. This seemed to help weight the front. Bike really does turn well.

Green coupler is easier for me to ride than the black.

Well im not that good but i found a kit for a good Price ?

Its not cheap to get the tac fork good, and even when it was good it still made the oil dirty in 10 hours.

Just get the 19. It can only get worse if they make changes in 20.

I think its rmatv, has a video on YouTube that walks you through it step by step. I did mine for the first time a month ago. Pretty simple.

I havent seen any aftermarket pipe that i like, i did try My old fmf but it looks like i sits low and still looked long.

I Saw that someone cut the oem pipe down and thats probably the best looking so far. I did see a video om YouTube with a black shortened stock muffler it looked really good. I measured mine and could cut 10cm of it, its like 4 inches.

But my question is, what would it affect besides the sound?

I installed the FMF system this weekend. Comparing the two mufflers....the FMF is definitely shorter. It looks much nicer than the stock system and took the ugly out of the situation. There is a pretty decent weight savings as noticed by the hand test. I'm happy with it.

I threw on the Arc “chip flip” levers and i like them a shit ton. I’ve never used these and you can get a perfect lever feel. The FMF went one without problem and fits perfectly. I’m going to throw in a complete Hinson clutch kit and call it a day (for now).
