This is the exact problem Bud racing is having with my CF can. The core they use is too small. Who made your core?

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Now I can't find it
It's 1 1/4 OD..
Someone must have it....
I put this top clamp on to hold it together.
Also, I'm replacing the bolts with Ti
It is a lot of work begging for parts
Not to mention there are a ton of one off parts on this build and some first time engine mods....
I'm hoping to do this photo shoot and testing this spring...
Just a update... I started mocking up the front end..
A little more Ti..
I have used Hammerhead products for many years.
Everything has always been top quality.
These parts are no exception.
The shift lever is for a KX500 and has a 20mm extended tip.
Makes it nice for those with a larger shoe size
The rear brake lever is another sweet piece for the 2016 KTM 250 SXF chassis.
Looks and fits great.
The tip is Titanium so for those with weight reduction in mind this is a perfect match

Thank you Hammerhead!
So, I better get the trans and shift parts done..
It's a start...
Old school polishing..
Road cycling is a funny old thing. While electric Bikes have grown in popularity amongst mountain bikers, for those fans of a skinnier tyre, the electric bike has traditionally been a shameful pastime synonymous with commuters, older cyclists and cheating cyclocross riders.
To the discerning kx500 eye you will see a few unobtainium new parts I've been hording for years
I'm just waiting for a day with lower humidity so I can clear Cerakote the linkage and some other parts as well...
Pit Row
This last weekend I shot several parts and so far everything worked as it should.... I hope
Looks real good!!!
I believe the issue is my cheap spray gun. I actually sprayed it and it came out very dull.
Then I wiped it all off with acetone, scrubbed it, baked it, and shot it again after disassembling the gun, cleaning, and reassembling it. It did spray more consistent the second time but we'll see.
