$90 for the SX and MX package is very reasonable. No complaints here. Thx.

The preview show on Dec 22nd is on regular NBC. Not sure if the races will air on NBC Sports Boston. That's something you'll have to wait and see on race day or contact them in advance to see if they will air on that channel. From my experience, stations are usually slow to respond so if I were you I'd contact them asap if you want an answer before the SX season starts.
I see. Thanks for the heads up!

And Australia; $180 here for the supercross live stream! That'll probably be unreliable as usual. No other options available and that's SX only, no MX package. You US guys actually aren't getting a bad deal so quit complaining so much. $90 for SX & MX deal, I'd take that any day of the week.

No whining here. I paid 130 usd last year for cleeng and their crappy service. If this year's international supercross pass works as good as NBC Gold does for the outdoors I'm good!!!

No idea if it works as good as NBC Sports Gold app but some guys on here mentioned that the new service was a lot better when they aired the Monster Energy Cup. Based off that, things should be good for the 2019 SX season.

It just sucks that NBC Sports makes the MX package available to a lot of different countries but restrict the SX and SX/MX package to US only.

Add in the fact that the SX/MX package goes for $90 and the SX package offered from Feld is $130 it's not exactly a good deal for international viewers.

I've gladly been paying for the NBC Sports Gold MX package since they've started offering it and would gladly pay for the SX/MX package if it was made available to us but I'm not going to pay $130 USD just for SX. Can I afford it? Yeah, but that's not the point. For me, personally, I just refuse to pay $55 more for the exact same thing that is being offered for $75 from their broadcaster. There's nothing to justify that price increase, so why should I pay it?

Looks like we can't watch live timing and qualifying without nbcgold. Can anyone confirm or hopefully, tell me otherwise and how to do so? Thanks.

Get used to apps for programming guys. Its the future and its coming sooner than you think.

AT&T owns Dish and Direct. The merger with Time Warner is in the final stages of being approved. That will give AT&T 60% of the cable market. Comcast having almost all of the remaining 40%.

Comcast already has Xfinity Beta app up and running to stream basic cable without a cable box for your tv and the Xfi app for phones and tablets.

Time Warner has been releasing channel apps for a few years now and is working on a complete package app now to compete against Xfinity and Netflix. This app will be out this fall. Then with Netflix, with their ridiculous debt will be bought by the new AT&T/ TW company. Folding all content to AT&T.

We are less than 2 years away from traditional cable being put in the grave and app streaming becoming the norm. Pick your channels, pay for only what you want, when you want.

Bitch and complain about the prices now, but once you get away from cable and pay only for content you want, you will enjoy the freedom that comes with it

Personally I like the idea to pay for extended coverage of sports you are really into such as the SX / MX package now available but if you had to pay for EVERY show / sport that you liked it would cost much more than a traditional monthly cable bill unless you only purchased.

But I think that's a false sense of freedom "cord cutters" are having unless they hardly watch anything but Supercross for example.

I guess for someone that only watches TV a few times per week or only on the weekends it will be cheaper to go with limited packages paying for every single content they prefer but it's kinda like paying for Red Box to rent every movie that's on HBO - it's a bit less to pay for HBO or Netflix than pay to rent each title (now you won't want to watch every title on HBO for the month so maybe it would be better for some people to just "rent" per title vs pay a monthly fee to have a greater selection of content for one price but the per month savings would result in older titles and maybe not exactly what someone wanted so in some cases it would be better to rent each title to get the latest titles and see exactly what they want vs pay for HBO and have a larger selection for the price of renting a handful of titles.

I hope the option of normal cable remains and also packages such as the NBC Gold package are also an option b/c definitely some households would go broke paying per package for any content where some would be better paying for a basic pay TV selection of channels (NBCSN, FS1/2, ESPN, AXS TV, news channels, TLC, etc).

If everything goes to pay per sport / show type of deal I can't see how everyone could afford to watch much content and how would everyone have access to content to where the studios / networks would produce as many shows as they do today if all of the cable / satt subs were lost. Maybe that will result in better but less content. Who knows, guess everyone will find out but I hope that both models live on to give people a choice.

One bummer with NBC Gold is that you cannot rewind or start any live event at any other point than the point that u begin to watch a "live" event. If you don start watching Supercross right at the start u must wait until the 3hr broadcast is completed to be able to watch from the actual start or be able to rewind it (once the archived on-demand version is posted). I much prefer the live TV / DVR method of recording and then watching SX for instance an hour into the live event watching on the DVR from the start (skipping thru parts u don't care for until catching up to the live main events for instance) - with the NBC app u must start watching right on time and stick thru the entire 3hr broadcast w/o being able to rewind / re-watch anything interesting or wait until very late at night to begin to watch the archive which you can control fast fwd / rewind.

One last thing - I have a feeling once everyone is paying a premium price just for each show / sport they will be back wishing that they could pay $50 for "basic pay TV" again which used to include all of the major network, sports, news, entertainment channels saving them $$$ vs paying separately for every show / sport that they are into b/c I don't see how anyone believes that the content providers are out to SAVE YOU MONEY by going this new route. There's no way they will allow cord cutting to save the consumer - they will up the price or limit bandwidth of your internet connection and charge a premium price for each event that you pay for (by package). In the end the providers will still be in control and with only ATT and Comcast owning most of the markets I'm sure that can't be good for consumers in the end.

Per show was meant like sports packages. Channels will be the options or bundle services like youtube tv and netflix currently. Time Warner cut a deal with Netflix for Friends, $100mil for the rights to air the show this year. $100mil.... once AT&T/ TW channel app/ streaming service is online, the Friends franchise will be back under the TW/ TBS control. Netflix will lose its largest franchise. Which in turn means the only show making them money will be gone.

The way its going to happen is a few streaming services like Xfinity Beta/ Xfi, Youtube TV, Netflix, and individual channel apps like HBO, Showtime, Etc. Pay for what you want, make it as cheap or as expensive as you wish.
