Is that engine/drivetrain going to handle that much weight?? I'd move to a Duramax....seriously. It would have to last way longer pulling that trailer than the Titan.

Yes you will definitely need sway control on a bumper pull trailer. I have had several trailers over the years and they are a must have. I recommend a system like this below made by Reese.

With a truck that size I would get an equlizer hitch with a sway bar. I pull a 31 foot trailer with a F-350 and that is what I use. It works great I can do 75-80 no prob without worring about it going side to side, pulls straight and true, I highly recomend it.

Hope that trailer has an electric brake or youll need to buy some stock in a brake company with that truck.

How many bikes? How much wt. 4 bikes and tools ,gear ? 55 gl. of water is about 400 lbs. I have never had the need for the sway device as long as you load it right. But it is insurance. Use the front axle as your center line for the trailer. Keep the wt. 55% front 45% rear. If you do haul a water drum or two put them over the axles in the center of the trailer .Your truck should pull it fine as long as you dont get over 2000 lbs.remember the trailer was designed to haul about 4200 or up depending on your axles. I would go with levelers for the reason of keeping the trailer as level as possible. If you have torsion axles it needs to be level or as close as you can get it to keep the tires from wearing out fast .To high in the front and you kill the rear tires on the inside, to low and you kill the front plus you have moved the center line of the trailer up and now you are looking for it to sway or get you in trouble, be sure to check the jam nut on the bottom of the hitch before you tow, it is designed to pivit on the lower bolt ,if the jam nut is tight and the ball can not pivit your truck will ride ruff and crack or brake your frame after a period of time. The jam nut is for pulling a trailer with out the leveling arms hooked up so the ball does not flop forward and backward. And yes the electric brake is a must. Sorry for writing so much , just trying to save you some headaches.

I agree with wet paint......as long as you balance the load right you will be ok. I also agree with the trailer needing brakes.

I pull a 24ft Campmaster with my 5.4L F-150 no problem. Of course what I put in my trailer and what you put in yours may make a big difference in actual weight of what you are towing. I put two bikes, generator, gear, tools, fill up the fresh water tank, plus stuff in the living area and also have a full drum of water in the back bed of my pickup for washing the bikes at the track..

I would recommend getting a leveling and anti-sway device like others on here have posted. You really don't want to get blasted going down the freeway by a semi hauling ass past you without the anti-sway device.

Funny shit right there!!!!

That Titan will tow that thing like it's not even there. They'll tow over 9500 without being over rating.

Equalizer hitch, sway bar and brake controller and you'll be good to go!

Weight tow ratings don't meas didley. Bottom line is that you have a 1/2 ton truck and it is going to have a hard time with a trailer that size. Sure it will tow it but you'll wear it out pretty fast. It's one of those things that you'll have to learn for yourself. If you use the trailer a lot I bet you'll end up with a diesel 3/4 ton truck........ imo

I pull a 22ft Toy Hauler (Nitrous Hyperlite) with my 1/2 ton Suburban. You should be OK with your Titan. My trailer is listed at 4,200 lbs dry. I'm in the mid-7,000s' loaded up (3 bikes, gear, fuel, pressure washer, generator and 100 gals. of water). Some old RV'ers told me as long as you stay below 80% of the Tow Vehicles rating you've got nothing to worry about.
You want both an equalizer, or load leveling, hitch and Anti-sway. They're not the same, although they can be all in one hitch set up. Spend the money and have a trailer shop set it up right for you. Your setup needs to be the proper rates and adjustments for your rig. Also, invest in one of the "proportional" electronic brake controllers. I got a Hayes, but there's several good ones out there. They adjust the amount of trailer braking based on inertia levels. Well worth the money.
A friend of mine pulled a 28' All American @ about 9,500 lbs. with his Titan...once. Overheating the rear differential seem to be the weakest link on that truck. Watch your temps on hard pulls.

Titan will pull it, barely. If you are mostly low elevation, and flat ground, you'll be OK but I would invest the 250 bucks for a Draw-Tite, Reese, Husky or similar 10,000 lb Weight Distributing Hitch with a sway control and adjust it accordingly.

You dont need to be level, I like a bit of rear end sag.

I run a similar 12,000 lb setup with a 14,000 GTW enclosed and can tow it at 90 MPH in a cross wind with a 3/4 ton crew cab.

Invest the 100 bucks for a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller too.
Set the boost to 1 or 2 and the gain to how much braking you need.

The Titan or anything in that range is way low on power here, in fact, nothing is worth a shit at 10,000 feet and a 25-30% grade(yah that steep) around 10 MPH switchbacks.

LMAO, yah, they will tow 20,000 lbs too. Good luck stopping, and even better luck in the wind.

You might need 4 wheel low to climb a grade too. I use 4 wheel low with a similar trailer to get up some grades here and a D-maxes 1st gear is damn near a granny gear.
