somebody made the comment the other day that went something like "people make fun of other sports, football etc, and rip on TO and call Cutler a whiner and whatever. This is true...they aren't athletes either. Just douchedbags on a tv screen or drinking a beer in a bar. respect the sport and respect the racers. saying alessi can't ride sx whoops as good as others is a fact. go ahead and say it...but to say he doesn't have heart or chad is a crybaby and a quitter or whatever. if a rider makes a mistake...a rookie mistake go ahead and discuss it...doesn't mean he's a novice though. Take LB for example...larry doesn't have the whole web deal down yet....he is too busy to sit in front of these fuckin things and made/makes a few mistakes along the way. but ti does't mean larry is a fuckass or a loser or a whiner and a general asshole. go ahead and talk to larry sometime...he's a good dude and a former badass mxer...still can kick ass to this day probably.

People that want to come to this kinda place like vital love motocross...one way or another. they race, they watch the races and ride or their family or friends ride. They're not dipshits on espn or wannabees at happy hour. so show a little respect to these guys...and if you don't give a fuck about the riders you can sure care about how a parent or sibling responds to the shit talking. It hurts them...i know that much. I am not perfect by any means either. i coulda donned a thinking cap a time or two before i posted before...no doubt.

as for new rules...let's hear em. one thing i came up with talking to tfs a few years ago was sub forums.
if there are a few asswipes, myself included...cluttering up the topics arguing amongst themselves stuck in a rut, banish em to a subforum where only those few people can post and reply for a couple of days, . but make it so others can watch and look in on em...hehehe. might work.

and if you don't understand my bombastic replys to ignorant topics by now you never will.
btw....hanging with around a bunch of friends we always talk shit and bust each others balls and it's all in good fun. we crack ourselves up...so don't take the name calling personal.

The only people who can decide whether someone's contributions to the site outweigh that poster's pain-in-the-ass quotient is Gibby and the mods. That will look unfair to someone else, and tough shit for that.

It really needs mods I think. A simple 5 rule, stay within these boundries , while posting sticky thread. And have mods that are capable of unbiased enforcement of rules.

And by rules I mean just the most serious of offenses. Personal attacks and the like that are "over the top" as laid out in the aforementioned rules.

Warnings, are given, and then you get clicked. Attack the mod, you get clicked. It would take a while to get people in line, but, like cattle people will move where they're pushed.
