Going to talk with a graphics guy tomorrow.
As you can see it makes the shroud sit tight to the gas tank as designed as well as narrow the bike at the radiators.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
I drew this tonight to get a taste of how it will look. Give me your thoughts.
DBD (dabaum designs) check him out. These will include chrome accents kinda like the 2019 bikes. Rear fender including vital mx and a few local shops.
Cameron if you see this I am going to buy a sticker and probably a hat from your site, not going to to cheat you!
2009 swing arm (currently fitted on mine with old 22mm axle, wheel, and brake carrier)
New brake pedal
Full length shrouds.
18 front number plate
18 front fender.
Updated 22mm front axle and wheel.
Black ignition cover
Black brake line guide
Tell me they wouldn't get a run on these if they stared making them this way. It's so simple. Add in a little engine update and they will fly out of the dealers.
On to the fun stuff! Swing arm, carbon chain guide, ignition cover, carbon fork slider, hydraulic clutch. Start device - button are all on. X trig clamps were test fitted and are going to go back on I have to replace the races to make them fit right. Carbon skid plate is going on, clutch cover is going on. and ktm front master cylinder and line are ready to go on.
I'm going to order some different white fork guards without raised lettering then the graphics will go on. Also some sweet factory goodness came from from doc wob. Next will be wheels and engine work. But that will wait till winter. Black Friday is close and the weather has turned cold. If I don't get out and ride soon there won't be a chance for a while!
How much did you get the shock for?
Cool stuff with the shock. I wonder what all the wear is from on the spring paint though, I can't picture it was rubbing on the bike anywhere? Also, it looks like a steel spring I'm guessing, do the yzf's still come with Ti springs? I thought the 2 strokes switched to steel a while ago but I'm not sure about the yzfs. Then again I doubt anything is stock with that shock...
With the shock I'm thinking I'm going to use the stock ti spring off my bike because I know it works with my weight. Hopefully when I send it to Enzo they have record of how it is set up and what the best direction to go with it.
Pit Row
Also added the brembo master and line to the stock caliper.
Check out my "intimidation switch" it's not hooked to anything lol. Plan would be to use it as the Ignition map switch with a vortex ignition if possible. I hate that big yellow one that comes with it. I have an electrical engineering buddy who would help me on that.
I’d probably sell everything except for the DEP pipe & the PC modified shorty for one bike & PC pipe with PC Ti2 for the other bike.
That shock is a wicked bit of kit too
The big thing with silencers I have noticed is resistance or restriction. Less restriction usually means less resistance which typically results in more flow. Thing is with 2 strokes is that you need a certain amount of resistance (or back pressure) to balance out the system. I’m oversimplifying here & there are a TON of other factors that play into how a system works but generally higher restriction results in less bottom end but good topend, too little restriction & you have good bottom end but no over rev. I have noticed 2 main ways the manufacturers control this (3 if you count the design of the system/flow but nobody has any real shitty bends in their silencer over that short piece of pipe we are talking about so I consider it a moot point). The 2 ways are pipe length & pipe diameter. The longer the can or body of the silencer the longer the pipe is on the inside & this the more surface area there is & typically the more friction or resistance in the system. Opposite for shorter cans.
For the 2nd way the smaller the pipe diameter the more restrictive it is. The opposite for a bigger diameter. Typically most MFG will have their silencer can or body already designed out with a certain length (taking in several factors of course) & with a pipe diameter similar to the end diameter of the expansion chamber. This leaves them with one simple yet effective tuning trick, a reducer of some sort in the tip. Stick your finger in the end of your silencer & you can feel it. FMF even sells replacement tips so you can tune them to your liking. If you have several silencers from several different years for the same bike you can see how different they all are. I’ve got some modified cylinders & heads so I modified some silencers by shortening the can or grinding out the reducing ring to a slightly bigger size. It is not going to be a “huge” difference but more of a fine tuning type modification.
This is all clear as mud right :-)
