I only have one rule of thumb/tip:

The floor is not for storage.

Put it on a shelf, in a cabinet, drawer, on the wall or hang it from the ceiling.

Awesome setup Grant!
Thanks!!! I only have about $500 into the setup - not counting tools. I got the stainless cabinet at a restaurant who was replacing it, and the floor as a remnant at Flooring America. The other bench is an old pocket door and two filing cabinets. Other than that it’s just paint, OSB, and peg board

and filing cabinets are great for manuals, notes and such. Keeps 'em out of the way and clean.

For starters don't advertise them on the internet!

I have a two car garage detached from the house in the backyard. It's pretty sweet.

Still need to add some shelving for the storage totes.

As far as security goes, we have a 24 hour guard on site.

I bought a ton of Harbor Freight floor cushions on sale. They were very nice when squatting on knees to work on a bike. Also, it kept dropped bolts and tools / sockets from running off.

So good setups. Not a two car but you get the idea. Cheers

Please turn our flag to be displayed properly.

Please get rid of those chairs and buy an additional bike. :-)

Haha! I didn't get a great look at it when I was there, I was too stoked on picking the bike up Laughing

I like the work bench by the window though! Beats looking at a wall every time you look up from doing something lol. How's the hip doing?

Good ! Race tested it Sunday on a borrowed CR250, 1st time on a track in almost a year, hip felt great like nothing was ever wrong, leg goes over the back fender and everything haha. Thanks for asking. Btw I put my garage photos in as a bad example of too much crap in too small of a room Laughing

Glad you're back on a bike! Where's the YZ though?

BTW, How many hours are on that CR? It looks like the original front tire!

Haha well...Got it all together, started it and let it run for 30 seconds or so and threw it in the trailer to go race. Got to the track and found out the bone stock carb jetting and settings didn't get along with the new V-force reeds, pipe and silencer combo I put on. It had ebu and a race didn't seem like the place to fiddle with it. Was going to hang out and take pictures when a friend said he had an extra bike I could ride. I spent most of the race trying to figure out the case reed motor, the bike handled good but I couldn't keep that motor on the bubble for the life of me lol. But beggars can't be choosers right ? I was just glad I could race. I put in a different pilot and adjusted the air screw on the YZ and I think I got it now. It hauls ass around the neighborhood anyway. Headed to the Hillside track with the old guys in 2 weeks. YZ treating you ok since you went through it ?

That's a bummer! What pipe and silencer combo are you running on it? I haven't ridden a CR250 in a really long time, but I know they are a different animal lol. Definitely different from the YZ's. At least you still got to race and get some much needed seat time!

YZ has been great! Sadly, I've only put 1.9 hours on it so far. Only been out twice and then rode around on the street a few weekends ago. It's calling my name, just haven't been able to answer her back yet.

For security, I have a Simply Safe system and a 44mag Super Blackhawk. My puppy Mandy does an awesome job also.

Yup. Glock 19, Mossberg 500, two dogs, and some wifi cameras do the trick.....

It’s a “Flow” pipe. It was made by a guy named Randy Blevins. He doesn’t make 2 stroke pipes anymore, bummer cause it rips. Added V-force reeds and an fmf shorty silencer. After the carb adjustments it runs really well ?

Hope you can start riding more with the cooler weather on the way ! Ok back on topic, this is turning into a garage talk thread lol

I went with some budget Home Depot cabinets to build my shop area.
Works fine and not so pricey as others..A bit messy at the moment though.
