My thoughts too I think you have to have more Fitness to ride that grueling stuff like that because even the simplest things on the bike are hard on days like that.

Not surprising to me at all. Strange that people wrote him off after supercross this year when he was INJURED. He broke his ankle really badly at Straight Rythm and had surgery. His doc told him not to race Anaheim, but he said f you and raced anyway. He couldn’t ride or train and was nowhere near 100%. Now that he’s healthy he’s back to the old Chad, pretty simple.

I was rooting for him just because he was out front. But we all know if it was dry he would have got smoked

I didn't read threw all the comments as I'm loading up to ride. I wonder if being on yellow helped him with the mental game some. Different bike than the one he got the championship on but still ! Just rained here so gotta ride!! Be nice fellow vigoobersSilly

That's basically what he said during the Winner's Circle interview, and you could obviously tell that's what he was doing when they had shots of him and Reed on the television.

I'm not sure it was so much a respect thing, more like he wanted somebody to follow that was inside the top 10.

I 100% agree. Tomac could have passed him a few times. In a few shots, it was noticeable when Reed slowed up, so did Tomac. I actually thought that was really cool for Tomac to do. Regardless of Tomac's intention, it got both of them TV time, and was neat to watch.
