Just give him a call. I'm not associated with his business, just a satisfied local customer sharing my positive experience with him.

We have a set inside a set of Marzocchis , with Ti Nitrided legs, and a Cobra Twin disc set up.. they replaced a set of Factory Marzocchi's that we had been running for the 3 seasons before, that came with the bike we got from Zupin in Germany.. they were great forks, but it wasnt practical to swap the bottoms over to them , so we went with the Ohlins kit, and its better mid turn, and holds up better on the brakes so it doesnt dive as much , but still turns well. Its so much easier to tell on tarmac, because the track doesnt change lap on lap... they cant not be better for MX.

@PhilG

I haven't seen any updates on your "Bike build" thread. I need more pics and info about the SM bikes you have, they are stunning!

Sweet forks, did you pick up shocks as well? What bikes are these bad boys going on?

I've got a set of RFX48 forks off a KX that the lug came loose in about 15 hours. No warranty, BOed parts. $500 dealer on the new lug. Once it came off BO it sold out right away. Customer just ditched them.

So they have good stuff but it's always been tough to source parts. It seems to be getting better but I still cringe at the possibility of the headache to deal with them when they come in.

The TTX shock was really good but they replaced it with a less adjustable Flow shock. We saw a few issues with those ones. Don't adjust the rebound on a Flow shock when it's hot.
Is the CSC adjuster still on there? That one really gave me a headache before I figured it out but that feature was impressive when you had it sorted out. Made the twitchy CRF stable as a freight train

I have 2018 RFX48 forks and Flow shock. Work great on my FC450. Overall very friction free and plush movement from the suspension which is especially noticeable on rough and hardpack tracks. The forks give the front end a connected to the ground feel and supple on the little chop (great front end traction). Rear shock works well on acceleration bumps but as noted does not have a high speed adjustment and there are way fewer clicks on the compression and rebound adjuster - not necessarily missed as it is easier to dial in the clickers. Husky and Ohlins look good together....

If you would have read the entire thread you may have realized I gave an opinion on them earlier. Just didn't realize I had a pic of my old ktm on this phone until later. No need to be a lil beotch holmes.

I have the fork inserts and flow shock, because the stuff are now assembled in shitsville in cambodia or was it china? My forks came empty of gas and oil...
Bullshit if you ask me, but the stuff works if you rebuild it properly, i ride pretty aggresive so no matter what i do i have to stiffen up everything

I've had 2 sets of Ohlins. Forks are very good. Up to par with the kyb and Showa kit forks I've had. Shocks have been about the same as a good revalved stocker. Overall I would buy another set
I second that..
Really love my fork inserts.
I could not tell a lot of difference with the shock...
However, mine is FAR from being an expert opinion.

Dean answers his phone and returns texts virtually any reasonable time day or night. Our riding group has bought many sets of inserts, complete sets and shocks. Always great service.

I did read the whole thread. I don't pay attention to who posts what though.

I was wrong. You did make a good contribution. Thank you.

Honestly I love my WP AER 48’s and the stock shock works great on my 250. Dream bike would be the Alta MXR with full Öhlins suspenders and plum purple plastics.

This coming from national rider should carry some validity! Interesting, sure help keeps the weight down too. Good thing the market has people like me that want this stuff, surely don't need it.

I have a set on my RM. Cartridge kit up front and TTX shock in the back. Shock has tons of adjustability (note that it is a TTX with CSC, not flow shock). Forks are very plush and forgiving I have yet to bottom them out. Overall very happy with the setup.
