Couldn't resist sounds so good! This is the first time I've ever heard it run owned it since last October. Still waiting on front plate and rear brake parts.

Well I'm finally done! Just got done breaking it in and all I can so is wow! This has to be the best turning bike I've ever ridden it's just glued to the ground and turns as tight as you want it to. The power is pretty good as well I wasn't trying to beat it to death yet but I feel like it can jump just about anything with the way it rails turns. Going to need a subframe eventually it's bent my last surprise lol.

I think I've got everything for now. I'm sure I'll run into stuff along the way. I've got all the plastics mocked up, now I'm gonna tear it all down for powdercoat.

I only have 7 hours on it but I learned the hard way on a few things. Main thing was I wasted so much time cleaning and polishing the engine bolts when they should have just been replaced. The zinc is gone so they look terrible already and have surface rust. So plan is titanium bolts since I need some anyway. Also considering getting rear axle and swingarm bolt in ti. The real part that I'm excited about is I got a showa a kit body that's actually for a kx! I need to find some internals to use or I may use my kxf one if I have to. I really want to get 19 kx450 forks to match the showa shock and kashima the uppers as well. Also noticed they sell a full hinson clutch not sure if that's recent addition so either that or rekluse torq drive clutch pack. I also added a lightspeed carbon skid plate pretty happy they make them again. I plan on doing a top end at 10 hours that's when I'll be pulling the motor to switch bolts and all that. Would like to possibly buy new radiators and get them modified by ICW to have the extra tank and all that, mine are a little messy.

Should be starting soon I was rebuilding my 450 suspension so it got put on hold. I've had the titanium engine bolts just waiting to pull the engine and do a top end. The power valve seal started leaking last ride so it's time anyway. I'm going to send the carb and reeds to Tom Morgan to flow test for a little extra power.

Sweet looks good! You should have kept it though this one is going to my grave haha. I just pulled the reeds and carb off and apparently I annihilated the reeds already too.

I asked Tom he said it's from heavy load riding sand. It doesn't matter what reeds you have.

Yeah I'm not used to a two stroke when I had a kx80 I sucked so it didn't matter lol. I really want to race the ww race I have until June 22 to fix it up.

Looks great! Wonder how it would look if you stripped the ano from the clamps and just brushed them with some scotch bright to make them look more factory? Just a though. Good work!

Thanks, the brown is a little faded but it's an original set at least. I may buy new ones eventually to get an oversized bar mount but it's not high priority.

I got the bike apart and found some issues so I'm glad I framed it. I just need new axles, swingarm bolt, linkage bolts. The swingarm was already rusting again since there's no zinc left. I'm just going to take my time and save for titanium ones. All the motor mounts were loose since the powder coat wore behind the bolts making the thickness decrease but now it's bare again so it should stay tight. The bleeders on the brake calipers also need to be replaced probably Ti as well. I ordered a carbon ignition cover from Luca should look good. Trying to get the 19 forks and build the a kit shock as well before it's back together. Not racing the 125 race at WW to much to do.
