More issues... I knew the pivot works linkage spacers looked cheap. I had play and when I took it apart the washers are broken or cracked... So I'm getting pro x now and have to re do it all.

I got the bike apart and found some issues so I'm glad I framed it. I just need new axles, swingarm bolt, linkage bolts. The swingarm was already rusting again since there's no zinc left. I'm just going to take my time and save for titanium ones. All the motor mounts were loose since the powder coat wore behind the bolts making the thickness decrease but now it's bare again so it should stay tight. The bleeders on the brake calipers also need to be replaced probably Ti as well. I ordered a carbon ignition cover from Luca should look good. Trying to get the 19 forks and build the a kit shock as well before it's back together. Not racing the 125 race at WW to much to do.

Where did you snag the Ti bolt(s)?

Racetech. I looked at the oem parts and came up with the lengths I needed, it was about $350 total. I haven't put them in yet but pretty sure I have them all haha.

I got the parts to do the top end as well as the carbon ignition cover. I got two since with shipping and all that wouldn't hurt to have an extra.

Great build man, a lot of the parts you’ve used and things you’ve done are very similar to the YZ250 build I’m just finishing up. Have a look at my build thread on here and you’ll see what I mean haha

Haha thanks man, just waiting on a couple of small parts and she’ll be done. I’ll get some pics and post them up as soon as she’s finished Smile

Well fitment isn't the best I have to drill the holes bigger. And the spare cover he broke a little bit when he drilled it. I heard some things but decided to gamble. I'm going to try and make it work today.

This is how messed up the one cover he sent is. I got the other to bolt on but the cover itself isn't flat so it won't seal...

On a better note I did the top end and added the Ti bolts. I'm addicted to them they're sick.

I sanded the cover flat seems to seal good now. Just need to get another boyeson gasket I like it better then the oem one. Didn't install the ti bolts on the cover yet either.

Made some progress this weekend. I'm happy with the fork color it already has light kashima so not going to waste money on getting it darker.

Random question but where do I get the pink/purple-ish carb hoses? Is it the stock color of the hoses that come with new carbs?

OEM Honda. You can get I believe 8000mm of the OE carb hose for like 14$. Much cheaper than buying individual pieces for your particular application, and it’s the genuine original stuff. I’ve posted the part # before on here. If you can’t find it let me know I’ll post a photo of the package in my garage with part # later tonight.

Haven't done much need to save up for the rest of the parts. I did add some gold tank heat tape, what a pain.

Ok I'm tired of this bike apart in my garage time to get it done 😂 Just got the radiators back so I can build everything but the shock and swingarm stuff. Plan to knock it out tonight. My shock shaft is out getting dlc coated so I can get my a kit shock together soon.
