As you get better you’ll be able to use the right stick more. Some tracks require less right stick than others. We need an option to vote for weather in online matches

Just played some for the first time. First impressions were not good. I’ll save time by saying they went way backwards. Then the more I played the more I understood the directions they were going, more realistic as far as the play goes, not wide open skipping across jumps and landing in turns backwards and shooting out of them like MES.

Coming from MES that I loved the gameplay in, PRO is definitely different. So here my list of things I hate.

Scrubs are 100% useless. MES was the best milestone game as far as that goes because it legit saved you time when done correctly. These are horrible looking and I can’t stress it enough. It’s that bad lol.

The highside is really really bad to start. its almost like they do not want you to sweep a corner in a power slide, and that part is the most annoying. The ruts are there and when you think you can rail one coming out of a turn it will spin you around in a hurry with no way to save it.

The right stick is barely touched in turns. If you touch it while accelerating hold on to your bootstraps because it’s getting ugly.

The good
- is it feels way smoother when you get a good lap going. No clunky ness feeling like we were used to on the older ones. And the extreme mode is a cool twist. I think this game has potential but it most definitely needs a patch to fix scrubs and also to fix the turning, to an extent, because it doesn’t feel like you can really lay into a good rut.

6 out of 10 for me a few hours in. just hope they listen to the fans and patch it quick.
Scrubs definitely save you time and are very useful. Right stick also helps a lot in certain situations. Just saying

Flatout - you'll enjoy the season mode. It's what guys like you and I have been praying for. Rivalries. The same guy battles you all season. The AI is tough. I was battle jonas every weekend and he was always there. So much that I intentionally took him out to try to gain points on him. I love it

And scrubs are useless and dumb by the way.... that's the truth. I hate to say it, but it is.

The scrubs on this game are bad. Really bad. May save you time but they are not worth trying on half the jumps and are not “free” as they claim.

Right stick is used, but not as much in turns, as I stated. Previous games it was a tool to cut down and make different lines. This one you slide out without it easy enough.

I think They have the right idea about crashing easier, but at least give us a chance to save it. A lot of the time the crashes are super inconsistent Lap to lap, and happen so fast you have no chance of saving it. That’s my biggest gripe so far.
I'm right there with ya, the inconsistency is what is frustrating and really saps me of my confidence.. I'll see a sweet rut at the base of a berm boom low side.. try using a berm boom over the top!
Apart from that it's good fun

You guys need to give it some time. I don’t think the games that great, but you can still cut down on lines once you learn how to play better. To scrub, let off and turn off the face it helps more than it did on MES. Like soaking up the jump

If you land too nose high, the bike makes a sound like you hit something, all your speed stops, and you get flung forward. Kind of like in mxgp 2 where if you wheelied too long you hit an imaginary hole in the ground and endoed

Patience my friend. I too got a little “tilted” at first. Keep in mind I’m playing on the extreme career mode with all realistic physics settings and such. My only two gripes with the game is 1. You’ll be hauling ass around a corner and randomly just get THROWN...and your like WTF happened!?!? My second gripe, which is a HUGE gripe which drives me mad and I believe takes a lot of fun out of the game is the “how far/high you can jump without falling” mechanics. I find that sometimes I can absolutely send it and land perfectly fine. On some tracks though I literally jump just as far as the AI does and yet I fall and randomly hit the dirt as if my A-kit suspension completely bottomed out and the AI stays up and passes me lol.

I really don’t understand it, massively inconsistent and rage inducing. Sometimes it’s justified because sometimes we overjump something, but it really leaves you shaking your head when the AI is able to do it and you’re not. Also when you know damn well in real life you would be able to land the jump Angry

The only thing doing my nut in is the sound. I have a bug where the sound doesn't match what the bike is doing. The game is unplayable for me until this is fixed, which is annoying because its great fun.

I got the game a few hours ago and jumped straight into the extreme career. I can hang with the pack barely, but as you said the inconsistency in when it decides to buck you off is driving me insane.

It’s a great game though, I just need to spend more time on it. We all bitched the previous games were too easy. It’s great to see milestone have taken that onboard and made this one almost impossible hahaha.

Couple of quick questions:

Am i overlooking something or is it really not possible to make in season upgrades to your bike in single player season mode? Surely this isn’t the case as isn’t the whole point of going through the season and accumulating winnings so you can slowly upgrade your bike to be more competitive?

Secondly, what’s up with these insanely high and inconsistent prices on aftermarket parts? I’ve placed in top 3 in 6 Motos and have earned a little over $4k which is barely enough to buy a new set of grips? $23k for new exhaust and $20k for a brand new bike? What?

The prices are almost like real life! Exhausts are expensive, lol.

You can tell it looks like shit because of the way that it is.

Check PlayStation Now.

I believe if you never used it you can have a free 7 day trial. Stream all kinds of older games. Not sure if that will be on there or not but check it out.

Its like everything they promised was a gimmick. The whips somehow look worse and still are animated. The ruts dont do anything just a dark line. But they made crashing really easy so thats cool i guess lol

This game really hasn't been a fun experience for me other than the glimpses of hope in the career mode. Theres just too much unpredictability in the physics. sliding out and crashing gets so frustrating especially when it seems to happen for no reason at all. It's just not a fun game

The inconsistency in the physics (something I was also banging on about from the start, so I sympathise) greatly subsides once you get to grips with the game - took me about 15 hrs. It is VERY much worth fiddling with the suspension settings. You don't have to overcomplicate it; just generally head a couple of clicks + on the settings for when it's hardpack and a couple clicks - for when it's sand. Iv'e created two different profiles for each and it does make a real difference. Otherwise you must learn the tracks. Do 30+2 min motos and keep spinning laps no matter how badly it goes. You'll learn what gear to use where, what lines to take, when to be very light with the throttle in certain places etc etc.

Looks like shit but beautiful graphics but you won't spend the couple bucks to support one of the only moto game companies? Looks like shit or beautiful? Just wondering since you haven't played it or own it. Unsure

I'll agree with this.. well the more time you spend on it the more you enjoy it part anyway haha..
I've just never been able to tell the difference after changing my settings

Games terrible. Honestly looks worse than the other mxgp games as far a physics go

I started a career and I can’t believe your stuck with the sponsor graphics. They did the same thing with supercross and everyone complained about it so they patched it . Why would they do it again?

Haven’t played much but the ai is decent and that’s really good news. It should make a single player championship pretty fun.
