I don’t see how people don’t consider this among the best if not THE best console mx game in terms of feel. The only thing I can think of is they only played for 5 minutes or they’ve never gotten the hang of 1st person. 1st person in all out is the closest thing to MX sim imo. Btw Zehn sorry I didn’t accept your invite the other day lol sometimes I leave my game on and go do something else

i agree with the first person comment. it is very good.

and there’s no way that anyone who is good at the game hates it. anyone that downs the game, simply isn’t getting it, isn’t catching how it’s supposed to be played and is comparing it to how they remeber past games. and they surely haven’t gone back to the games they thought were so good and played them recently because if they did, they would quickly realize they aren’t as good as they remember.
I wouldn’t be a fan of the game if it was only 3rd person. The way the camera follows is weird to me. The difference in gameplay between 3rd and 1st person is night and day. Now that I think of it I think I was the one that convinced you to switch lol

Not 12, actually just put in the time to learn the game before talking shit on the internet like an actual 12 year old.

I absolutely loved Reflex like almost everyone. Allout is way better in my opinion. And I'm sure all of us played Milestones sx game and I don't think it's a bad game at all. I still prefer the gameplay of Allout though. I think Allout has a bigger learning curve to it and I think it's harder to get consistent good laps with the more aggressive track deformation forcing us find new lines at times.

When you think about the improvement in this game there is a lot. In encore it was like ice at times, now we can adjust the tires grip to how we like it. The track deformation is way better than in Encore. It used to be you wreck and lost no time now you can get going right away or it may look funny to flop on the ground but if you let it play out you loose time with a crash. Track scale is closer to realistic than before. Compared to Reflex you can race and not go flipping down the track after a slight bump into another bike. These are just a few things that make it a huge improvement.

It's not perfect but they will be patching for awhile. I'm sure fixing the online issues are a big priority now. I'd guess other things will be addressed more once that's working well. I'm hoping the ai is also fixed at some point, they need to be way better.

I'd suggest if you have an issue with the game let them know what it is. I see posts like it sucks, quit making games, worst game ever. I don't see how that's gonna get the game where those leaving those comments want to see it go. As for me I get it, I like it and actually feel like they do listen.

Why cant we just have different opinions on the game instead of saying stupid shit like "if you don't like it, you must be awful at it." Different strokes for different folks guys. Everyone's got their own opinion.

Last night on Coconut beach 1st) Holtergiest 2) Sophisticates 3) KidDiamond 4) Nelson31 (myself) all ran 1:19s, Im not sure about Holt, but my 1:19 was faster than both Sophisticate, and KidDiamond. The difference? I blew out the same rut twice on a four lap race... This is why I play (keyword: play; as in, having FUN) $49.99 for endless fun vs. two 18 packs of coors which I piss out a day later... 10/10 would buy again.

That's true but gotta admit reading those posts are entertaining. Like I've said I do prefer the gameplay of Allout, but think MES is also a good game. I message both companies with my concerns. I figure if they get a lot with same complaints it has a better chance of being fixed in a patch. If the minority want something it won't be changed.

The Rainbow guys will still be working on Allout when Milestone usually moves to next game rather quickly and the older game will stay as is. They are different companies with different gameplay and release games on a totally different schedule.

I'll continue to support both games. I don't get the fact that if you absolutely hate a game why not just move on and play the other one. It's funny I just wouldn't waste my time bashing a game. If you don't like it don't play it seems simple to me. I'm sure for either company it sucks to hear the bashing and in my opinion neither really deserve it they both released games that a lot of people enjoy. Just like you said greenmx5 different opinions, and that's what it really comes down to.

I'm about half way through watching it.. Lots of banter with little meaningful content, still waffling around about the coming DLC with hints (very vague) but no details. They said it will be posted on their YouTube channel but I found it on the twitch archive.

You guys can check out a replay of the live stream by clicking HERE.

Just so ya'll know, i'm MX vs ATV's community manager. We started having official community feedback meetings with our dev staff, and it's been super super helpful. We actually use this forum as a source for that feedback, so thank you all for ALL of your feedback. I emphasized ALL because the good and the bad are important.

We'll never be able to get everyone's wish list into the game because we're a small team of less than 30 developers. But the more ideas we hear, the bigger our list to draw from becomes, so get on Facebook, twitter and Instagram (shoutout to Holtergeist) and start discussions with people in the comments section. Whether other fans agree or disagree with you, that conversation helps us to development MX vs ATV based on empathy for what ya'll want and need.

I look forward to connecting more with you guys on our social media sites ( @MXvsATV ) and here on Vital.

i really try to talk to people on ig and relay the importance of giving the game more time, and to try and really learn it. it seems like if somethig is simply different then what they expect, it’s grounds for being terrible. i’ve played all moto games, and this one is a diamond. the base to this game is what we’ve been looking for. it seems like bashing the game is the cool thing to do! makes no sense. but i truly believe the negative people have the loudest voices, the rest, the majority, are online playing and enjoying lol. and if you devs don’t know..let me tell you..there are a lot of guys online that love this game.

just a few things off my head
-the gate is always down on the start. and then glitches/drops
-first person view start glitch where the rider shoots to the left or right/looks all around
-laptimes goes away after lap 4
-incorrect timing/scoring but the rider podium is correct

I really don’t think you guys have been given enough credit on your outdoor motocross track creations. I will admit, for the first two weeks, I as many others thought the outdoor tracks were lacking. i no longer feel that’s the case. I, and many others that I race with, now see the time that was put into each bump and each line created. those tracks offer awesome racing. please continue with that mindset on future tracks in terms off bumps and line choices. imo, maps is the future of this game. maps that include multiple tracks, sx/mx/freestyle section and maybe adding an enduro loop that can be linked into the moto tracks as well. so youlll start off on a trail then to a moto track and then break off at some point into a trail around the map over to link in with another moto track and then back to another enduro trail. something like that i think would be awesome. maps with different themes like you’ve done already....i think that will hit huge. because you will get so much on a map. of course you’d be able to race each track like you can now but also freeride it. it’s funny because other then the couple glitches i listed and wanting more outdoor moto content and the obvious online problems, i really don’t have anything to complain about lol

I really enjoy the game a lot, but I am super bummed about the outdoor tracks. Being able to race on user created national tracks on Reflex was awesome.

Thank you for taking the time to read these.

Edit: My YZ250 Sprocket settings will not save Sad

To TheREASZN and everyone at Rainbow. Thanks for taking the time and asking for our input.

My main complaint is that the game has very little single player value. I'm aware we live in a day and age of online and p vs p but sports games like NBA2K and MLB The Show have shown the value and importance of single player. And I do want you to treat it like a sports game. And yes, I realize it's like night and day in budgets compared to those franchises.

Season or series modes are basically worthless single player in All Out because very few of the top pros are there thus it's impossible to replicate real life and although you can create them in BRAAP you cannot choose them in a season or series mode which is a huge shortcoming.

Also, unlike your competition, the pros you do have in the game do not in any way have any skill differences. In other words, if Cooper Webb is in your game then he should be much better than, say, Tyler Enticknap in your game. Only by having AI skill differences will any season or series modes ever make any sense whatsoever. As it stands now your pros or BRAAP creations are all the same which makes any single player season modes absolutely pointless.

Your pro rider's skills should reflect their true life skills based on a rating system as should your created BRAAP creations.

That's my main gripe with the game. The gameplay, for the most part, I like but I don't play the game much because I enjoy single player season modes instead of just one off single races.

Other suggestions are to stop making Nationals so wide open. Try to get the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross license to replicate real tracks. That would be huge and sell like hotcakes. But if can't, at least somewhat copy them. Tracks aren't rough enough and we should have way more braking bumps and rough terrain. The smooth, wide highway outdoor tracks are not that good, in my opinion. Play Redrider's user made Unadilla track on Reflex and you'll get an idea of what your games Nationals should play like. Rough and narly not so wide open.

Lastly, please do not force us to play thru series we do not want to play just to be able to unlock series modes we do want to play. That is frustrating and is not, in any way, a valid career mode.

Thanks, as always, for your time and hard work.

I was really glad to see this post. That’s the thing with the mx vs atv team, not a huge gaming company but they try and give us what we want. I’ll buy every mx game that comes out and am always excited when one is released. I message the Rainbow guys a lot, probably more than I should, but I do feel they actually do take our ideas and if possible implement them into the game. Soon I’ll be buying Milestones MXGP Pro, but their supercross game still has issues that should be patched and I’d be shocked if they ever are. Allout has already has changed so much since release day, and it will only get better. When Rainbow does start on the next one they will have a really good base to start from. After all the dlc is bought I’ll have a good bit of money into Allout but the length of time I’ll play it makes it worth it i in my opinion. I like how they do things, now if I can get some more competitive ai, and finish the braap feature to where you can set their consistency to be able to enjoy the championship mode. I just hope lots are asking for the same so it gets addressed sooner rather than later. These are my biggest wish along with good dlc.

Totally agree and single player championship with good competitive consistent ai is so important. I get online is popular now but if the championship mode was more of a challenge and you could set the ai consistency it would make it seem so more authentic. The braap feature is awesome, who really cares who’s in the game if you can put whoever you want in it, just kinda sucks there isn’t away to distinguish who you want to be one of the top guys you have to really battle against consistently.

I never loose to the ai, if championship mode was a real battle and challenge to win on all time difficulty I would have exactly what Ive always wanted in a mx game. The ai has to be better though, this is one of the reasons all the online players get so upset when there is online issues, the ai is no challenge, if they want any competition at all they need a better competitor than the ai offers.

I totally agree with flatout111 also about the single event set up in Rainbows games. We want to do championships. There are still a ton of people who play games in single player. Games like Madden, and NHL I don’t do single games I do season mode.

I look forward to some good dlc. Please Rainbow let us pick tracks and create a custom season once we have some dlc tracks. I’d hate to see any dlc tracks we get only able to be used as single races as in past games.

That’s my big wishes and probably easier said than done. But better ai, braap with a consistency setting, also being able to pick just braap riders and not the pros in game on their Rainbow and Nordic bikes. Custom championships with dlc tracks.

For the love of Christ, can yal PLEASE, get rid of the insta-repawns? I feel yal fixed them for the "loud" minority who complained until yal gave them insta re spawns. I get it sucks waiting to re spawn, but It sucks a million times worse having your momentum through a rythym section come to a dead stop due to running into the back of an insta respawn, or WORSE, insta respawn being an advantage for the player who crashed. If you wad your s*** in real life you ain't gonna just get up. If a 2-3 or 5-second delay is not In our best interest, can we at least ghost them while they respawn?
6/29/2018 5:10pm
Sweetd31 beat me to it. We could definitely use some type of ghost or invincible feature for a few seconds after a player has been respawned. Its so annoying having your rhythm ruined or being sent flying off the track when a player respawns exactly where you are at that moment.

If they make remakes of past tracks, I’ll take the sand tracks from reflex. They changed so much during the race. If not those give us some type of sand track that gets super rough.
