Hello all! I was wondering about the performance on PS4 PRO because I really want to buy this game right now, but if it is not in a playable state, I will have to hold off untl Rainbow fix things. I gotta say, I’m really not a bug supporter of releasing DLC before fixing the game for console users.
So anyone on ps4 might sharing your impressions? doesn’t matter if it’s a regular ps4 or a PRO.
The Rainbow team has proven their commitment to making this game work as close to perfect as possible. It's totally enjoyable on any platform and as I understand seems better on the Playstion. Yes, the bugs are annoying but updates have been steady with no sign of slowing down with talks of 1.06. Just my 2cents I play on Xbox and had

Hello everyone. I play on a XBOX ONE X and have been having issues since 1.05 came out. It seems that there is a very large lag in the left stick input. If I push the stick left or right, the bike doesn't react for maybe a quarter of second. When I let off the left stick, the bike keeps turning for that same quarter of a second or so.

Anyone else experiencing this? All my other games work fine. This issue has made the game unplayable for me, which is a bummer because I was really enjoying it.
1.05 has a funky feeling that took a while to get used to.. I also had to change most of my go to setting to compensate for what you're describing.

Yeah, I've played a lot since the last update trying to get used to it and I can't. It's just not fun anymore. I can't put together more than two solid laps on any supercross track. It's so unpredictable with the control input lag. I hope they fix it on the next update. If not, they basically got $50 from me for nothing. Oh well.

i’ve been saying what you’re describing since the release of 1.05 and pretty much no one else has been talking about it. i’ve gotten used to it i guess cause i don’t really notice it much anymore but i generally liked the game much more before the last patch. but yes, the game is “sluggish”. it took me a good two weeks to not be frustrated the entire time i was riding. i did reinstall the game and for a few mins i thought it fixed it but then realized it didn’t lol. 1.06 is taking a while to get released, maybe this one will be good

yeah i was crushing supercross and like you said, all a sudden i couldn’t get any clean laps in. and besides the input lag, it’s hard to play a finger on what exactly changed. but it was enough to where it changed the game completly. i still havnt gotten as good as i was again in supercross due to the frustration and how hard it is to keep momentum and turn. i’ve been doing motocross where i feel it’s not as noticeable. i 10000% feel your pain tho lol

I think it’s all input lag. That makes the bike feel heavier, and the whips and scrubs don’t work as well because those are all about timing between the left and right stick. Since the lag only seems to be left stick, it throws everything off.

I don't play more than 30 minutes a week because its just frustrating. Im on xbox. I mostly play sx but since 1.05 the cornering and lining up my bike coming out of the corner is just not what Im used to for MVA games. Every time I play sx, something about the camera is not right. Maybe it is physics lag or input lag, not sure, but I feel like the bike leans into corners faster than the chase camera can move so as I exit out, the camera doesn't seem directly behind the bike and Im always off a little bit and not exiting straight enough for rhythm sections. Does any of this make sense or correlate with you other xbox players?

It's pretty crazy how difficult it is to decribe what's wrong with the handling with 1.05.. Everybody has said the same basic thing in the end, that it just doesn't feel right.
I've really gone down the rabbit hole in settings to try and find a better setup for myself and I'm more jacked up now then ever. Be nice if the did a RonRon explains the settings and what they do to help people along the path of finding a good setup.

It's so weird. I really only played a couple of times before 1.05. To me, it is better. has some weight to it. I think the game plays good. I really enjoy the feel and gameplay of the game, just bummed BRAAP is useless and there's no valid series to play in since I play single player. But the actual gameplay and feel of the bike I think feels great. They got that part good. If they could now just get BRAAP right and get the AI tuned where it makes sense. I know it's an online world but a LOT of sports fans I play games with who play all the major sports games checked it out but agreed with me in saying it's just a p vs p game.

i play first person on mxsim and all mxgp games but i’ve akwags played mxvsatv in third person because it’s a arcade game. i can’t seem to pull the trigger on first person with all out for some reason. i do think if i stuck to it i would be a little faster

Bro I felt the same way when I started playing it but I didn’t like the game in 3rd person at all. Once I switched to 1st person and got used to it I fell in love with it. I also have MESC and all outs first person honestly feels way better imo. The game is so much more fun and realistic in 1st person once you get the hang of it. Plus faster lap times

1st person feels better but i just can't get the preload right. i'll either not preload at all or i'll max-preload and land in the next county. i switch back and forth which is probably why is suck so bad.

I’m telling you all, the control (mainly left stick) input lag is the root of the issue on Xbox. Sit still and push the left stick. It takes somewhere around a quarter of a second for the bike to react. How can anyone be precise in the tight confines of super cross when the turning controls lag?! The heavier weight feeling is because of the lag too.

I have it on my Xbox One-X and just can't seem to get in the hang of it. I enjoy MES on both the Xbox One-X and PC but something about All Out I can't seem to gel with. Probably just me. Everybody is different.

I'll probably pick it up again at some point and try again. Maybe after I finish Far Cry 5.

Yeah, Ive used first person a little before they changed it and a tiny bit after 1.05. It's a little shaky now but pretty cool. I played MXS for like 3 yrs a long while ago so I can get used to this style again I think. However, for arcade play I sometimes just want 3rd person. I had zero complaints with Milestones 3rd person camera and that had zero config ability. Oh well, wait for 1.06 to see if its even worth fussing with this game.

this message is to FlatOut111 in relation to racing with the riders you’ve created with BRAAP

go to online and create an event. go to custom settings for your online event and choose however many AI racers you want and their difficulty. if you don’t really want to “race online” then make it a private event(s). in my experience, when i create an online even (private or open) and select AI to race in the race, they are always the AI i have created in BRAAP.

if you chose to make it private and don’t invite anyone to the race, it will be just you racing the AI like any normal race offline and you can choose which tracks you want to race in what order with desired laps and difficulty...and it’s been with the BRAAP riders i’ve created

Been spending some time working on settings and started messing with the Exhaust slider and wow!!! Totally changes everthing in regards to handling.. Left of center is like slow motion and floating in the air, easily jumps all big lines.. Right of center is hyper sensitive but stuck to the ground can't jump hardly anything. I didn't remember seeing it before but I dunno..
5/17/2018 12:52am
I bought the game and can’t get a win in the first race, even on medium... I know It’s a different game, but I could hold my own in MXGP3 on the toughest difficulty. Any tips on how to work this game? Controller tips, how to do the best scrubs. Should I turn preload off? Custom camera settings perhaps? How to corner is also an Issue I’m having.
I’m pretty much a noob, haha, haven’t owned a motorcycle in real life, but love motocross and understand how a bike works.
Also, I drive manual and changed the controller swttings to shift with L3 and R3 but using manual is proving difficult because I can’t hear my bike that well during a packed race. What should I do?

Cool man. I'll check that out. Thanks.

Can you do that with a whole series?

The control inputs are more subtle than any other MX game I've played. I would use automatic for now until you get used to controlling the bike. There are some tutorials for whips and scrubs on youtube if you search. They are helpful. The main thing is just to play for a while. Pretty much everyone hated it at first, then came around the loving it if they stuck with it. There are some control lag bugs with this current patch (on XBOX, not sure about the other platforms). Those should be resolved with the next patch. I have provided feedback to the developers, including descriptions of the issues and videos. They replied that they are working to fix it.

We've seen this before, though. Referring to them sponsoring track maps. Mike makes them. It doesn't necessarily equate to replicas. Their IG post is hinting at it though. I hope they wouldn't tease that and not deliver.

I hate to be pessimistic hut we've only got replicas once and it was a one and done.

With that being said, I pray Rainbow makes it happen. Properly scaled replicas of the Lucas Oil Motocross tracks would take this game from very good to be the best in the series, in my opinion.

Make it happen, Rainbow. Make it happen.

I have to scroll to get to clutch adjustment... It wierd I don't remember seeing an exhaust option before but it's there now and makes a huggggge difference.. It's unplayable if I move it all the way to the left.. Like moon gravity.
