Or does Roger dust off a gem in the factory rig for St. Louis?

I was at the Suzuki trailer today, it was at a hotel nearby, and they said he won't be involved with them at all. They said it'll be his own deal, probably with Cernic's, and that he hasn't had factory support in God knows when.

Also, they said they aren't 100% what is going to happen with Reed, as his contract is only one year and has not been resigned. So expect to hear more details over the next few weeks.

God knows, ask Old Ger.
Dumb on Suzuki's part if it's correct, best publicity since RC for them in my opinion.

If I remember the same thing happened at Southwick in 06. I was there when he pulled in with his own 5th wheel with a bike in it, and we thought he was gonna pit with Suzuki. He didn't as far as I remember. He also didn't do so hot that day. I hope he gives us his usual great couple laps, and stays on 2.

If the promoter is providing Travis with start money , it would be the best money spent. Watching Travis on a track is worth the price of admission alone. I'm not sure where he will be from a competitive level, but very few people I know can out showman Travis on a bike. Now I'm hoping that somehow Speed will come up with a way to air the race live.

... could be something for his TV show? Why not show up for free? Pretty sure he's doing okay on money, and it isn't like Travis to do something only for the money... I would assume he's doing it simply because he designed the track, decided it would be fun to race, and went at it.

Purely speculation of course.

No TP wouldnt do it FOR his show... I mean maybe season two might show a clip of him racing, but most people dont give a shit about supercross as lame as that it. He seems pretty loyal to Cernics though. And hes not racing for the title so I dont think he really gives a shit about the suspension, or the motor being the best. Just makes it that much more interesting though. Suzuki should give him a ride though; he won two titles for em bastards lol.

Don't fool yourselves, just because he doesn't have "factory support" doesn't mean he isn't getting help from Suzuki. They're still getting him the bikes and parts he needs, or giving them to Cernics to give to him. It might be the equivalent to amateur support, but I'm sure there is support there.

Byrnes bike with Travis' set-up out of the Cernics Rig would be my guess.... But then again Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki still has 2 bikes on the track so who knows..

It would be awesome if Travis showed up with a bike right off the showroom floor. Like said before, he's not there because he has a shot at winning, it just for fun. If he could manage even top 15 on a bone stock bike he would be talked about for a long time.

I would be surprised if TP doesn't collect some kind of paycheck for running Suzuki all these years. (free bikes etc)
I just hope he makes it through press day and qualifying!!! The kid is always the first to try and do some crazy combo's and sometimes it works.....most of the time its a spectacular crash.
I bet he is still ridiculously fast for 5-6 laps

That was TPs idea. He said he wanted to go in low pressure

I saw the Suzuki rig parked at the hotel on the way to work this morning. I smell Supercross in the air! Smile

For all Travis has done for the brand, I'm sure Suzuki would help him out with a factory bike if he was going to truly make a serious effort.

I'm not sure how serious he's doing it this time, or how much time he has spent getting prepared. So, I expect him to do about as well as he has the last few times he's raced at X-Games etc..... about as fast as a guy like Voss, top 10 speed, but I'm sure his fitness won't be there.

That's just the funk of East Saint Louis making it's way over the river...

What about the fact Travis is a Redbull rider and Suzuki's title sponsor is Rockstar.

I still bet he has some nice suspenders and factory support, but no way Redbull and Rockstar are going to co-exist under the same tent...

Did you read what I said?

The RedBull graphics TP199 bike wouldn't go over well with Rockstar under their (Rockstars) tent and rig.

I followed that up with I bet TP will have good stuff just not under the same tent due to conflicting sponsors.

If TP was a Rockstar rider I would bet money he would be under the factory tent....

Try to follow.... OK?

Considering it has been said he is testing with the Suzuki team at Reeds house I would bet he is riding a Yellow bike.

That said, TP on anything other than yellow would be really weird!
