I am selling my 2018 KTM 450 SX-F, has 30 hours on everything but the suspension. Forks and shock have around 10 hours. Bike is all stock besides new tires and Mx Tech "A-kit" suspension built by Jeremy Wilkey himself. Forks and shock body are Kashima coated, fork legs are DLC coated... this is the best set up you could currently buy from Mx Tech for a KTM... valued at $3,000. Before anyone asks, I do not know why the anodizing was rubbed off the rim. I fell over in a rut at Martin Mx in Michigan and when I picked the bike up the rim had random spots that appear to have rubbed on the dirt or something strange. The spots are still smooth, no deep scratches or rough spots, just took the anodizing off. I am asking $7800 firm. No trades. Has title, located in central, IL. I am not a regular vital mx user so I can be contacted at MxWhite260@aol.com or by phone at 217-979-1288. Thank you.

That’s a damn good deal. And you’re right, that’s the best that suspension will ever be just short of unobtainable factory parts. And even at that I’d venture to put them up against factory parts.

Thanks man. Sadly I've had this bike for sale for 2 months and haven't even got a lowball ignorant offer let alone a decent one ?. I'd never buy another KTM for that exact reason. My 17' Honda 450 sold in literally 30 minutes

Yea, I’ll never buy into the orange kook-aid ever again. Everything is way overpriced and too proprietary. I used to think, well if I ante up the extra dough in the first place I won’t have to spend so much money and time on replacing stuff on a different color bike. Yea, that’s not true. Parts costs are higher and you still end up replacing stuff you think you wouldn’t. And then the resale value doesn’t reflect the extra cost of it New compared to the resale ratio of other bikes. I mean, it’s a tough market for used bikes around most places right now anyways. It’s just the recoup for something like a KTM makes matters even worse. Just gotta hope the right person comes along and appreciates and knows what you have. But that may take months.

Nice bike. It'd look nice in my garage. However I only have about the same amount of hours on my '16 450SXF so I don't think the wife would approve of another.

Honestly man I'd go ahead and try it out, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Love the whole f-up your wedding method lol I’m into it. I’d f-up my wedding for moto, actually I bet moto does wind up messing up my wedding. Nice bike wish I had the cash.

I mean it has only been for sale for 10 days...And selling a current model year bike, used, is a very tuff prospect. Most want to finance, used MX bikes are not as easily financed as you’d think. Then if someone has $8k cash sitting around for your bike, why wouldn’t they just drop another grand and buy brand new?

Damn, three months you should have had a few tire kickers at least. Good luck man.

I think I'm going to have a nice size bon fire soon. I'll never buy another KTM as long as I'm alive lol.

Just be patient, it will sell. It's a very clean bike and that suspension is worth every penny.

God dang man....$7500.00 for an 18' KTM450 with A-kit? That is crazy low , and if I was in the market for a 450 , I'd pay to have that thing shipped to me. That's an incredible deal. Mxwhite.....just hold out man , because the right buyer will see this thing sooner or later. You might want to think about slapping the stock suspension on it , and selling the A-kit separately though. You WILL make more money back that way. Christ.....just selling the A-kit and then trading the bike in with stock suspension , you would get more back.

Jeffro, I felt the same way man lol. I know what the suspension is worth but apparenty no one else does. Everyone who contacts Mx Tech for this exact kit has to pick their jaw up off the ground after they get the price. But when I tell someone I'll trade them my suspension and $1500 they tell me I'm nuts. I've never had an issue selling a bike.... this is new to me, I buy new bikes every 5-6 months and typically have people begging me to buy my shit because I have a good reputation for keeping my bikes super fresh. I have a kid that won't let me alone about it currently, messages me 10 times a day offering $6,800 with the suspension hahaha. It drives me nuts. Everyone wants a steal now days... they're willing to pay $6800 for a 2017 but when someone asks $700 more for an 18' with the kit they just can't fork over that much because it's not a "steal" for them haha. $9,300 bike and a $3,000 set of suspension and these guys want to pay $6,000 for it
