If you get bumped in the back end coming out of a turn, you fly off the track into oblivion. You can be having fun battling, but if you wreck, your rider convulses on the ground till you're 10 seconds behind last place. The ruts do nothing but screw up your corner speed. The game relies on the clutch way too heavily (if you don't use it, you lose.) Framerate makes outdoors unplayable. The constant sounds of RC cars hitting the rev limiter when mid pack is annoying beyond belief. The controls are so touchy that leaning back is more of a risk sometimes than reward. If you lean back in the whoops, you end up looping out (not sure how that works.) Amateur "arenacross" and amateur "outdoors" are indoor and outdoor utv tracks.
The only good thing I've found with this game is its slowed down from other ones. Rhythms can be fun if they're done right in supercross. That's really all I have. They really need to build off of these little positives. I'm not a Nordic basher. I loved alive. Supercross was a letdown, but it was playable. I've been playing moto games since EA sports supercross and ricky carmichael's moto game in 2000, and I can honestly say that I've never disliked a game this much after a few hours of playing. I literally cannot get into it.
If I could return the game today and never play it again, I would. I'm trying so hard now to just get anything out of my 50 dollars. Have off work today and the lady works night shift tonight. I have a feeling I'm going to be switching back to MES by the end of the night.

The game gets better with a upgraded bike but as you say, using the right stick is not worth the risk, and i almost scream at my TV when the AI boosts into my rear wheel and send ME flying! Fuuuuck! A patch and improvements better be coming soon
Sure, it’s a little wonky and weird at first but once you get comfortable it’s a lot of fun IMO
I thought I read online somewhere that they said you'd be able to choose between using one and two thumb sticks.
And
It took awhile for Milestone to put a message out let alone a patch and from what I've read those things were pretty much nonexistent in the MXGP series games (can't confirm, only played the first for a limited amount of time).
Pit Row
Unfortunately the game is full of glitches and is laggy. It needs work and it sounds like they will keep working on Patches and Updates, which is good. Honestly, I expect that from them. The game should be finished and it isn’t. They have a lot of small improvements to make.
How come the bike is so slow?
I was playing around and decided to try 1st person since I normally prefer 3rd person for MVA and was so surprised how perfectly the bike controlled with zero rear wheel sliding. It was fun but weird as I don’t recall the last mva game in first person where rear wheel Never broke loose. Hmm. If they could adjust traction especially rear wheel traction somehow.
Finally, does it feel like Rainbow has changed the 3rd person camera code? Something’s off like it doesn’t follow into turns very well. Maybe I’m used to the MES camera though.
