Congrats on the house man. Not to get too far off subject, but buying is the smartest thing you can do, especially if you can do fixer upper shit yourself. I added a half bath on our downstairs and it brought the appraisal value up almost 15 grand and only cost me about 2000 in material (on a 200k house.) So many little things raise the value instantly for resale. I rented for a few years and eventually got so sick of putting my money right into someone else's pocket and getting no return on it other than a place to live. The hardest part (which I'm sure you're seeing now) is the buying process. They want to know everything there is to possibly know about you, whether you're vegan, what you spent that $532.86 on six months ago, and if one nut hangs lower than the other.

open worlds and just dicking around in them. the boy doesn't like the racing part of the games, just riding all over the place so that's where most of our time will be spent. i just hope it's fun to play and has some shelf life on it. i remember playing Reflex for about 5 years pretty non-stop.

also terrain def looks awesome, can't wait to check it out

Not going to put a ton of faith in the terrain deform actually affecting line choice in this game but it is a fun feature to have the track roughen up.

The physics don't seem tight enough to allow cross rutting or small, deep ruts. I liked Reflex's deformation and expect it to be pretty much like that but I just feel like people might be setting their expectations on it a bit high.

I'm excited for the unreal engine, hopefully this is better optimized than their previous engine.
Online racing and online open world environment.

I really expected to see more gameplay. Other then the racer x deal, trailers, and the social media clips. Its 7 days from release.

My favorite thing about the MVA games is using the slot custom camera zoomed in and rotated to the left a bit so I can see the front wheel. Love that camera.

Congrats on house! I can relate to the house buying pain in the ass. So glad I was able to find a land contract deal as for what me and my wife wanted (lots of land with an old fixer up house for around $100k) no bank we spoke to seem to be able to make it happen as we didn't want a "renovation" loan and there are lots of stipulations on how the banks value homes (thanks 2008).

Back to the game:
I'm looking forward to split screen the most. Me and my bro use to play unleashed for hrs on end, battling it out with absolutely zero lag!!!! Really hope they have a replay feature available for split screen races as that is something we always wanted.

Not sure if they have a replay mode but they do have a photo mode. I'm assuming that if there's a replay mode it'll fall under that category.

Split screen battles growing up were intense between my brother and I. Loved not having to need internet. Brought the PS2 to all the races. Racing between motos with friends. Good times.

Deformation was cool in reflex not crazy but there’s a few tracks where it would get a nice groove in a full room. Few times on a lip of a jump those where the funny crashes when your battling with a buddy and back end kicked into a full endo panic rev.

Yea I saw that in the racer x video, but not sure if it will be available in split screen as I believe in Untamed they had a replay feature that was only available in single player. I didn't play Untamed much as it sucked IMO, so I could be wrong about that though.

Thanks, bro. I appreciate it. You have a pretty dope track coming along at your place too. That's exciting.

Yeah, Splitscreen is up there on my list too. I always loved watching the replay highlights on Reflex after finishing a battle with one of my buddies. They were usually pretty hilarious.

Thanks! Still got a long ways to go, but yea I'm definitely excited to start working on it once this F@!King weather finally gets nice haha

My bro and I always seemed to have a questionable pass not show up on any highlight reel so we'v been dying for a full race replay feature for split screen. Of course, if there is one in this game, I may not like it at times....lol

Back tire isn't on the ground meanin the bike is too separated from the earth. Numbers are too small on the fake bike. Trees have too much green leafs as it looks like more of an autumn season in-game. And there's no such thing as off camber whoops like in the background.. Cancelled my pre-order today.

Right that camera angle is badass! My buddy would always use it, I never understood how he could go so fast with it.

I'm most excited to just get back into the MvA series overall. Haven't been big on it since Reflex so it's been a while...
And terrain deformation, split screen, etc. The amount of tracks we are getting at launch is insane! 16 SX and 12 MX?!
One more week!

100% I have only ever used the slot cam, with one to two clicks further to the right so that I could see the front wheel.

I've raced with that view on on the MVA games.

There was a great off-chamber whoop section in Sugar Ridge in Reflex...

Still gonna cancel my preorder tho

I'm looking forward to not having a scrub button and accidentally triggering the animation in the middle of a heated battle.

Like always, you can't judge these videos that much until you see a skilled player behind the sticks. I am glad it is much slower than Encore. That's pretty important. So, we'll see.

Damn, even though this guy isn't that great of a player, the game honestly doesn't look all that great. Bummed, hope I'm wrong Sad

The guy playing it sucks ass. I did catch a few things I was hoping they would do away with but I still think it looks good.
