Sweet. Do you think they're going to leave the KTM number plates on it?

Now I'm afraid to go buy an '09 Kawi.

If Suzuki and Honda are doing it, Kawi probably is too.

Glad to see technological advancement is not being hindered by the world wide economical collapse. About time full blown race bikes cost around $10,000 or more. Weeds out the brahs.

How do they know it's EFI? It would be nice to see some engine close ups.

There's only one vent hose for the engine and it has the characteristic Aluminum tank, so chances are very good it's EFI. The bike looks incredibly thin, too. I can't wait to find out what it's like to ride one!

I'm all for development!
I'm all for new!
News cool!
News innovative!
Yet in it all at what cost?
What?
What's next?
These days, one has to be smart.
These days even companies have to be smart.
Is this that?
Where will it all end?
Are all these innovations needed?
Wanted?
Are the dealers & the dealer reps even listening?
Seems to me at some point, there's a stopping point.
A commonsense point.
A point worth the point!
Maybe the development of affordable "new-ness" will come!
Is the 2stk. ever going to re-surface?
All I see is that the more the 4's develop, the more
they seem to cost.
A some point more knobs on the stereo are just that!
More knobs!

Though we all knew this was coming, is
the one with the most the winner?
Not hands down in the 450 class!Shocked

While we don't "need" EFI, this is one new knob we should welcome with open arms. Besides the obvious benefits, the sooner EFI is considered the industry standard, (why not in MX, even your grocery-getter has it) the more likely it is that the two stroke will be saved. In the short-term, getting them back in AMA racing will help, but only EFI will bring them back with any long-term market viability.

Lot's of comments on the styling of this bike, have any of you seen a 08 or 09 RMZ450 ?
This bike looks identical except for the side panels and rear fender.
