World of a difference right? Changes the entire experience when you have instant response in your finger tips. That 1ms is related to refresh rate, not input lag. Just looked up the numbers on that model and it hits 10ms of input lag, which is absolutely unperceivable. Awaiting the day full size TV’s hit those marks. I believe when the new HDMI spec rolls out we’ll see TV’s hit those numbers.
Ahhh...Yes, you are correct. I'm not the smartest on all the tech terms, I just know the monitor made gaming with the PS4 Pro a much better experience!

Do you have a digital copy or hard disc copy from the store? I have a disc copy of the game and was able to finish all the careers without experiencing any data loss.

Only issue I had was getting stuck in the lobby after the race. No matter what I clicked nothing worked. It's like the game was frozen. In order for me to go to the next race I had to restart the game after each race. I believe that was fixed after the patch was released.
I have the digital pre-ordered copy. The recent patch fixed a lot of issues but not the championship. I started it brand new from the start after the patch. Right after I finished round 5 and it was about to "go to next race" it froze, booted me to the PS menu and gave an error code I then reported.

Maybe email them what you're experiencing and also let them know it's on the digital download version. I've received plenty of error messages that booted me back to the main PlayStation screen where it gives me the option to report it and attach a video to send to Sony. I always clicked on report problem and checked off send video and never once lost anything.

I know people have experienced different issues on both the retail disc version and the digital download version. I have no idea why everyone is experiencing different problems based on the version they've bought. Same game, different versions and different problems across all platforms is odd to me.

Hopefully Milestone can start isolating the issues and release patches as they fix them. Game has a lot of potential but it's frustrating to play.

Anyone else get to race a 2nd SLC race at Rice Eccles stadium?? Totally different track! I'm in career mode on 450s. Thought the game messed up and didnt save my SLC race as it said the next race was at SLC again but it was a totally different track and stadium.

Don't think they'll be intoducing that to the MES game. Only thing planned as DLC I think is the Monster Cup Event.

Maybe you're thinking of All Out? In that game you'll have your own compound to play around in along with a garage for your bikes/ATV's/UTV's.
how do you know what they have planned to release? other then the mention of the monster cup...

If you get the season pass it tells you that you will get access to the MEC and MES Compound

I think the problem with Xbox is that most the rooms that get formed are private rooms. Any time you make a lobby it’s private instead of having the option to be open to anyone. I played online with my boys for 3-4 hours last night after the update. Still some random issues but was much better. I can see how it’s hard to find rooms that are open for anyone to join as 99% of the rooms are private
exactly. this is part of their problem. here’s what you do. when you do find someone in a lobby, add them as a friend. this might seem stupid but it doesn’t take long to get some “friends” and then instead of waiting for randoms to join your lobby, you create your own and invite them right in. then those guys will invite their friends and it won’t take long to get a bunch of people in your race. also, i’ve noticed if you choose championship, it most always kicks you after race 2, maybe 3. if you do single event or whatever it’s called, in my experience you can chain many more races together with the same group without being kicked. and if you do get kicked, let it be known that whoever made the previous lobby is going to send out another request to his “most recent” list which will include all the dudes you just raced with. if that person does it fast enough it’s as if you didnt even get kicked cause you’ll all be right back in the lobby in the matter of seconds from one mass invite.

i’ve been racing with full gates for the last week and it makes my penis quite erect.

The online experience in Australia is dog shhht.. can’t find a game, I’ll get dropped into a game with 1 person then they quit.
Can’t we just view the lobby’s available and join what we want.. I’d love to see a group of +5 riders in a lobby about to start a championship.
Maybe run them on the hour each hour?
It seems like no one is playing it? I wouldn’t know really...

This sounds like more of a menu glitch than anything else - I have not had this happen to me on PC.

MCM2 was a better online game even with it's flaws that should have been fixed. It's laughable how poorly multiplayer is done on some of these modern games when some PC games did it better almost 20 years ago.

That's never happened to me. Only way I would get to race the same event/track a second time is if I chose the Restart option.

You're saying you raced SLC twice in a row in career mode with 2 different track layout and two different stadium? Are you sure it wasn't just a glitch/text error in the menu and that you actually raced the following track which is East Rutherford, New Jersey but instead of saying you're racing at East Rutherford it simply stated SLC again? Were your lap times similar?

First time hearing about racing the same event twice in a row with a different layout and different stadium.

I finally was able to play the game. Did a few career races and raced a buddy online with the AI. I'm on the latest patch 1.0.0.6.

So far, I'm quite impressed. The graphics overall are good, and the stadium environments are great. While racing my friend last night, we battled in Rutherford while it was downpouring and the atmosphere was stunning. The game is more authentic and grounded than anything we've seen before. The ground/corner physics are fun when you unlock and have everything on manual.

I love the championship option online, but it's not working for me. I was able to do multiple races last night with a friend, but every time we did championship mode, the person NOT hosting would get booted, every single time. We both have horrible internet, but the regular online racing worked fine. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, load times are a little annoying, the repetitive menus after each race are a bit much. They should have those stats and credits come up while you're waiting for the next stage to load (it would help pass the time). On the Xbox some of the graphics are blurry, and the riders faces are alienish (At least they tried to represent each rider, and they do look close, and it's better than the same rider model with different gear on.)

Overall a really good SX game, easily the best game to date that captures racing SX. It's also easily the best looking dirtbike game to date. If you're on the fence and haven't tried it yet, I'd pull the trigger.

That's exactly what happened. I have the downloaded version of the game on ps4. I thought it was odd too, but the next race was then East Rutherford so it wasn't just a typo in location.

Man I hope this still isn't an issue. I'm on round 11 and have been doing realistic length and full format races. I've done it with no rewinds and no restarts and have a perfect season going

I'm on ps4, disc copy, and have done the patch

Seems like the career issues have been happening a lot more with the digital version than the disc version.

In my opinion you'll be fine. I completed the careers and championship on PS4 and never lost anything despite getting error messages and I did all that before the patch was released.

With the online championship I've experienced the same thing on the PS4. I entered a lobby where the championship was already underway. I entered at round 2 of 5. I did race 2 and 3 and then got booted out. Got a message saying Lost connection to host or something along those lines.

It wasn't the only championship I got booted out of either. Seems like I can't do more than 2-3 races before I get booted out.

I'm pretty sure the host has the option to kick people out but I don't think that was the case. I've been booted out of every single championship I entered thus far. I haven't done many of them, maybe 4 or 5 but still it shouldn't be happening unless the host chooses to do it.

I raced online with MagicStickMike last night and had a lot of fun other than the tuff blocks everywhere and Mike taking me out in Vegas with a little over a lap to go. But it was a lot of fun. Some guys online do nothing but try to clean you out and that gets annoying especially when you pass them clean, but it is what it is. That's racing, right?

Haha on the first lap i got stuck against the announcers tower and couldnt get back on the track. It took me a while before i got reset and i was able to work my way forward. It was fun though! I was aiming to try and race with you since i didnt know anyone else in there haha

Edit: my bad for riding a wide bike, I didn’t mean too haha. Just trying to go as fast as I could. I got the hole shot at Glendale but they cleaned me out and I ended up third. I was bummed. I kept making mistakes and saw you getting closer with every mistake I made.

Yeah you were doing good on glendale, i was closing in but not fast enough. If you dont get out clean on the first turn its pretty damn hard to make your way back up. Especially with the AI riding like maniacs. I usually search for matches with no AI for that reason but not to many lobbies like that. Iam figuring out how to take them out though.

In Oakland I was passing the ai in the whoops before the finish. I got cleaned out in that first turn also but had a hell of a time. I came from almost last to 6th I think, but I sucked there. I had fun though. We need to get a bunch of us vitards into a private match soon. Are you going to play tonight?

Yeah should be. I try to get on everynight as long as i can get the kids to bed at a decent time iam usually on around 8 or 9 for a few hours. If i see you on tonight ill start a party on the vital community and see who else we get.

Oakland is tough but iam pretty fast on it. The last rythm section before the whoops is hard on the 250s.

Are you going to leave it open so everyone can join or set it to private? I'll more than like be on around 10pm or 11pm my time so that lines up with you guys' time. Short or medium length races? If you guys plan to stay on for awhile maybe we could do a short championship? 4-6 races or so? 250 or 450? Doesn't matter to me.

Fair warning I'm still learning to go fast. Trying to stay low enough not to hit the tuff blocks.

#Authenticity lol.

Flatout you still alive?

You’re in the same situation I am. I’m usually on around 9-9:30 after kids are in bed. I’ll definitely be on tonight.

I only got that section down once super clean the entire race. I’d either jump too far or not far enough of the first single to table and it would blow the whole thing. You guys smoked me there!

Is there anyway to play custom tracks that others have made without racing them online? If so can someone guide me.

Yes. Go to time attack or single event and when you click on choose track it will say real track or online track. Go to online track and then you can choose
