I know a lot of you remember the good old days and Hammertime from here and over on MX Forum.
Well, we've dragged him out, kicking and screaming, and he's doing an opinion column over on Direct Motocross.

If you'd like to read what he had to say about the Tampa Supercross and a bit more, here is the link to his first column on DMX:

http://www.directmotocross.com/hammertimes-reality-check-tampa-supercross/

I don't usually spam our posts here, but thought this may be something some of you would be interested in. DV?

I noticed most in the pics have no neck brace. Is that fad going away?
Other than RV in the past and Windham, I can't really name a single guy who wears one now.

I disagree about J Martin

He just needs to settle the hell down and be solid or else He will not be landing the good paying Jobs because the $ is in SX.

You see them quite a bit on kids. You know, parents looking out for the well being of their children. The majority of Pros are not the sharpest nails n the shed

It’s ok to be ignorant once in while if you are funny, so I’ll stick with Matthes.

Bull riding vest.keeps your guts from running into your boot from some wild eyed 40+ goon's footpeg.

Don't see how the horse collar helps cept bend the neck unnatural.

But hey. If it gives one comfort mentally .... The way I broke mine it wouldn't helped. Crashed the same way 6 yrs later and didn't break it.

Luck of the draw man. Luck of the draw.

Article was low key...not much in the way of new info, pretty generic mundane stuff.
