Nearly pissed my self laughing when he launched the over/under. It’s clearly obvious the people doing these videos don’t know how to ride. I don’t understand why they can’t get someone who knows Moto to actually play the game. It’s doing a great disservice to their game.

LOL yeah that was pretty comical. I get that he doesn't have much experience but there's a mini-map that clearly shows there's a turn ahead.

On the positive side the whoops appeared to be bigger than the one's we've seen in the previous videos.

Hi,

Here is my own (quick) video. Played today at Le Touquet (France). First thing I can say is that, there was no "Pro mode", we could only choose between "Assisted" and "Normal" and turn off the same assists as in MXGP 3, but, the main physic wasn't on "Pro". Maybe because of an old build, but I really think that there's not gonna be a "pro mode" in the game.

We can't lean backward and carry more speed, It does wheelie like in MXGP 1.

Also, with the AI on "realistic", I won every race I do except for the first one. Two tracks were avalaible in the build, Mineapolis and Vegas. No customisation, no track editor.

The video isn't perfect and that we can't see the rythm section, Mineapolis isn't an interesting track for this.
The game is way more arcade, but still ok and fun, but I feel a bit dissapointed

Pro physics please. Normal doesn't look "Normal".

No Pro Physics in the options...

Maybe in the final release, I don't know.

just like there wasn’t customization and a track editor, sounds like you played a copy that didn’t have pro physics on it either. and i only say that because i’m pretty sure i’ve heard people on the team literally say in interviews that there will be pro physics. maybe they were still working on it at the time you were playing the game and that’s why it wasn’t an option on the copy you were playing. and maybe i’m just wishfully thinking.

but customization and the track editor were two things not in the game you played but are definitely in the real game so why would it be crazy to say that pro physics is another example

Yeah I read in your post. I was just expressing my disappointment. Hopefully its in the final build.

Thank you very much for posting this video. We all have been waiting for a long time for a moto gamer to post a video. Your video was excellent for showing the games potential.

They talked about "pro physics" in interviews months ago (like, in December). The whips in this game were not from early builds. I doubt this build he played was out before November. But... heres to hoping the "normal" physics get a bit more realistic.

Saurone's video was decent. The bike/rider looks better. Overall looks decent.

But what's up with landing on top of other riders and going for a piggyback ride instead of crashing out? Also, I sure hope there's a harder AI setting, career mode won't be much fun if you can easily dominate the AI.

Well, I didn't say there was no track editor or customisation section, just that it was "grey" and we can't select it.
But for the Pro physics, it's different, there was no section for it, Am I clear ? ^^

If you look in the left corner, you can see that the build I played was from Jan 23, wish is one of the last we can have I guess. Look at this one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sm2W0iqg7QM, the build is from Jan 11 mine is newest but with no contents.

Sorry for the disapointment, the game is still good/fun, but more Arcade than what I thought/expected, it could've been perfect !

In this build you played were you able to choose manual shifting and separate brakes?

Thanks for creating an account just to share Saurone, that was cool. I am not thrilled with being able to ride over other players and not crashing. Milestone already mentioned this was going to be the case with casual gameplay, but Milestone does not understand that having settings to change with skill levels can make us all happy. The challenge will be racing other fast players and that will be the fun part I think.

I can confirm that the sound of the bike is way better in MES than MX vs ATv (at the moment).

He doesn't say much. Plays like an arcade video game. Scrubs are a little difficult to get used to. He did 2-3 races before doing the one you see in the video and that was on the hardest difficulty. As you saw it's easy to beat. Said that for the real competition you'll have to turn to playing online. Crashed in the tuff blocks/riders and was thinking to himself why am I not crashing and then he finally does. Said the rider is a bit stiff and not as fluid as MX vs ATV.

That's about all he said concerning the game. It was a demo so only a few things were unlocked.

One thing I think we will see is this. Big markets like Monster Energy generally think that everyone wants a pick up and play game. I think that MES will be a little more arcade than say MXGP due to this. The flying way off the bike is an indication of this. That part doesn't thrill me. But I also know that this is their very first Supercross game and we have seen Milestone listen to their customers and make improvements each year in the MXGP series. I think the same will be the case here.

By all the videos I have seen, I think if someone rides the track realistically the game does look very realistic. For a simcade game. But when people just pin it everywhere and don't time sections correctly it can look messy.

I'm super excited. Would I like it straight simcade without any over the top stuff? Yes. But I also am thankful for all that we are getting and finally getting a licensed series that can grow with each iteration. And I am sure it will improve with each as well.

I'm pumped.

I’ll give you that one.

The potential is there, and they will only get better in time. I just hope they reach that potential before they quit doing them. Because let’s face it folks, nothing lasts forever.

Hopefully this is the beginning still though, because we’d bitch way more if we had nothing.

Look how popular boxing is right now, and there isn’t 1 boxing game on current gen. And we’ll have 6 in the next couple months. We’re doing pretty good to be fair.

Just a bit frustrating. It feels like we’ve been waiting a long time for the right one to come out. And I do think we got a little longer to wait lol.
