My second bike was a 1980 MX100 just like this!
I had the "Enduro" version of the 100. A 1977 DT100D. Destroyed that thing, should have gotten the YZ80 that year. But had a lot of fun doing it. Still have an old pic of me in an orange metal flake helmet and red toughskin jeans doing a lame wheelie on it. Good old days.

I sent away for a poster of this ad when I was 10 yrs. old. I think it took 6 months..........probably cause I paid for it with an envelope stuffed with Canadian quarters, dimes. and nickels!! Ha!

Wish I still had it. Lost it in a move back in the "young & single" days

Those ad's remind me of the days when I could hardly wait for Cycle News to arrive at Suzuki of Van Nuys every Wednesday afternoon.

Favorite bike I've ever ridden! That thing was light years ahead of the previous years model.

I had a love hate relationship with my 81 CR250. pretty cool in a lot of ways but still not a real good bike. I had a Roost Factory boost bottle, a ceet seat and a plastic mesh number plate. the one that the numbers were held on little posts built into the numbers. Ah memories
