How can one rider win 7 races and another rider with one win, and be tied?
I mean, even with one DNF, I think it’s kinda harsh. I don’t feel like it reflects on how the racing has really been. It's really been a blow out run away season, except for the DNF. Meanwhile, they are tied.Unsure

After 17 rounds, they should drop everyones worst race at the very least.

Unless you are James Stewart who can bang off 7 straight wins...anyone else with a DNF is fucked, unless everyone else also has a DNF.

They really should at the very least, allow for one at the end of all 17 rounds.

I mean...it's not only crashing, it could be pure bad luck...like a broken chain, dropped valve, someone taking you out at the start, whatever...

R-acer...I'm going to talk slow, and try and use as few words with more than one syllable (sorry) as possible.

It's called a championship (sorry for the big word) series.

If you have a DNF, or a crash that causes you to finish down in the final order for one race, it hurts your chances for the big trophy (and paycheck) at the end of the season.

The riders know how the point system works, and the guys with a chance at the championship (sorry) often ride at a pace that allows them to finish consistently. It's generally a bad idea to try and change the system so fans of a particular rider get the result that they want. That's not how it works in the real world.

I hope this helps you understand our sport a little better.

R-acer is right. Every race JS does bad in shouldnt count. It makes it harder for him to kiss Stewarts Ass.

is there anyway R-acer is actually real?

Just like the Provisionals, they need to bring that back too.
There is always a little bad luck in racing, so there should always bit a little back up.

It's not about Stewart, .. JG and RV are in the same situation. If they dropped everyones bad race at the end it would be better. If you screw up past that then your S.O.L

And look what happened to Ferry.. couple bad starts (heat & LCQ) and he is history. They need that Provisional for the top 10 Riders who commits to the entire season spending hundreds of thousands per season to make all the rounds

That's racing......

Giving "drops" is something you do at the local level.

When was the last time you saw a MLB pitcher throw a third strike and the ump gives the batter another one because he had a bad day?

Professional sports is a harsh arena and it should be.

about Stewart? Im not worried one bit. He came back from a DNF to take the lead in 7 races, what is there to be worried about? You think Reed is going to even win one heads up race? no chance.

It's just an Observation about the say the system is set up.

Oh for craps sake....not the straight up crap again.....sheesh.

Did you see the race last weekend?
They both left the gate clean and raced, Chad won.

If you are going to say that anytime someone falls then it is not a "Straight up" race then technically JS is undefeated....lol.

Dear R-acer: You know I've always thought you were kind of dumb, but with this one post you have proven me wrong! After reading it I have come to the conclusion that you are NOT dumb, but just plain stupid.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I hope you come to the toronto sx r-acer.. we can hold a boxing match in the pits and every vital member can have a round with you to excerise all the frustration you've caused us with all you're moronic statements. I'll talk to James and see if he can save his riding shorts after these few main events before toronto so we can ring them out and fill you a water bottle of his nut sweat to suck on in between rounds to keep you happy.

All you need to do is go to JS pits and he will be the guy on stewarts balls.

There was a time not long ago when every racer was expected to have a DNF in the championship season .....and that evened the playing field and kept things interesting......now if Bubba would just throw it away again to make things interesting...........
