like Dan Fouts of the Chargers compared to Joe Montana, James is the fastest racer alive but Chad is actually a better SX rider. it's obvious......carry on.

I agree,

Reed is almost always in total control. The more technical the track the better Reed does.

Hmmmm, good way of putting it guys. BobbyM, I would have used Marino though instead of Fouts.

That only means he hasnt needed the "fastest man on the planet speed" most of the series then.

If you were to bet on Reed falling down you'd lose most bets........Everything else aside he has the "keep it on two wheels" ability pegged.

I will agree with this. James is a racer and Chad is a rider. So Bobby, you admit James is a racer? I think you said a while back, James was not a racer. I see you came to your senses.Wink

You must have missed some of last seasons races then. Everyone can make a mistake and take a soil sample, CR isn't immune.

I dont think he's immune but compared to most of the top tier guys he samples a lot less soil.

Chad hinted in previous interviews that he knew James weekness and had to work on it.
Was his weekness pressuring him into mistakes?

they are both exceptional riders. who gives two shits who is better. at least there was a race to watch and not another run away.

how can anyone "dislike" either rider. both have earned the right to be where they are, and are making the best of it.

I personally like that running the number one plate is being done again. earn it, display it, pretty simple.

Last night and the opening round were the only times he's had any more near misses than anyone else that was on the track.
Do you have a voodoo doll of him you ram into the dirt on sat. nights just hoping????

Chad wins one race and all the sudden Bubba is slow. What about the previous races where he smoked Reed.

They both have great speed and completely different outlooks on how they go about racing. James goes all out and wants to win every time out. He would rather go for it than settle for 2nd even if it means he crashes. At least he knows he gave it his all.

Chad at times is content to take 2nd place and be patient just waiting for a race like Indy to capitalize. Chad certainly seems a little wiser.

Stewart's public relations agent told him to make the series close....stop winning the races by 30 sec.
In Atlanta, Stewart was long gone and all the fans were cheering the race between Reed and Villo.

Bobby your wasting your time. All your gonna hear is that Reed got lucky.
The fact that Stewart was forced to ride over his head, and he paid the price twice is irrelevant.

I haven't watched the TV yet, but watching the race Sat night, I couldn't believe the pace that Stewart reeled Reed in.

For him to doink it into the dirt on that shitty little section at the finish jump, well, if I was James, after the frustration of it wore off, I'd just have to laugh it off.

The track was awesome, apart from that ridiculous section. What is the point of having an over-under jump if you don't go under?

The sand sections were cool, though!

The track was very technical. Even Reed struggled with a couple of sections when he was leading.
They should hire LaRocco to design all of the tracks.
True JS looked unreal when he reeled in CR but give CR credit he kept it close and stayed aggressive after JS passed him.
