If that guy can do that on Henrys Hill mid race then I'll allow it. Until then he is just free riding..

this kid has skills obviously, but it's a bit different doing something on a setup versus doing it a race speed.

I used to have a sick picture of someone scrubbing at Glen Helen as my background, I don't remember the guys name, but as I recall he was a local pro. It wasn't the best scrub ever but the overview of Glen Helen and everything was just awesome. Wish i could find it.

Bubba scrubs seems to start way sooner and he is airborn over the lip landing sooner.

That was more like a turn down whip to me.

Just My opinion though. Still sick rider.

another tasty scrub.....

Yeah, that good sized roller that they added to the Thunder Valley track provided a lot of good photo opportunities. I was taking some pictures from behind the fence on the other side, but unfortunately the camera I had didn't allow me to get any decent shots.

Hey Guys cheers for the comments on the Gilard Scrub pic I had taken late last year.

Just to answer some questions raised: It was taken on a different day when video was done.

After taking the pic a friend of mine Tim Gould asked if we could revisit the location for his latest movie Mind The Gap2.

So yes the image was taken on a different day in the late afternoon, which is why the colours are so vibrant, apart from saturation adjustment and white balance, the image is untouched.

The location was in the North Island of New Zealand on the coast where the area is full of rolling hills with fenced in dear so the grass is clean and short. A real favorite place for locals riders.
I thought I would share another scrub pic taken at Taupo which is our most famous track, were BT comes from. Anyway cheers for the comments.

This was taken at speed 4th gear, I'd say pinned RM125

Rider is Michael Menchi

Bubba said the scrub is only effective if you take off while still on the incline, not at the lip. This photo demonstrates the correct way to scrub. This must be the best picture in the world ?

Best motocross photo ever????

No offense to that rider, but these pics are WAY more 'motocross' than any 'jumping' picture could ever be. IMHO.
