It seems like this is going to eliminate having U.S. riders who race supercross from coming and racing the Canadian nationals. Like Maverick above I think going back and forth across Canada over 10 months is going to prove to be difficult for a lot of the Canadian teams and riders to manage financially.

Since the supercross series is really just arenacross they should of created a longer arenacross series in the fall and left the late winter into spring alone for people to ride the ama supercross.

They also said there were individaul championships for the AX, MX and SX series so a rider could bow out of one if they get hurt etc. But still win a championship in another.

Great track... maybe. But a long long ways from a national caliber track. Lack of anything exciting or areas to stretch out a bike. Lots of potential with the property but needs some work. In my opinion.

And in the middle of no where for a national.

That property has MEGA potential as he has some massive elevation changes. The older track that Landon let grow in has some spots on it where people were searching for 6th gear on their 450, and has some really big, steep hills and steep drops. It got STUPID rough and back then it was close friends and invite only allowed on the property. Now more people are riding there with less skill(slower weekend warrriors) so he paid more attention to the smaller/slower/safer track and let it the big track grow in, if you have only rode there in the last 5 years you would have not rode on the big track...... If he decides to go over and smooth out the older big track it will be insane. Also it does not take much to build jumps, its not like the facility is on some flat piece of land.

Sadly I've only been out there once and it was at that start of this year so only got to ride the small track. Didn't even know about a bigger track to be honest. Heard good things about the track but was a tad disappointed for the 3 hour drive. But like you said the place has tons of potential.

On the Pulp MX show last night Ryan Gauld asked if they could bring up "the Alta thing". Will be pretty interesting if we see the Redshift race all season in Canada next year.

I'm looking forward to the new series. CMRC has been going downhill for years.

That's actually a really good point, hadn't thought of that. Though I do wonder about a guy like Goerke, where would he be in proper SX? Main event guy I'd think, but stretch for top tens. Would he be better offer depending on the purse and salary up here?

Reverse order now. Lead with pros on Sat, then amateur on Sunday.
