So ac needs to get to second to win which is likely because paulin usually folds
8/13/2017 8:32am
yeah most likely Cairoli will pass Febvre and Paulin and get overall .

Herlings has got some lines like no other at the moment, the way he managed to take the inside and still pass Paulin on the straght rhythm was classic.

Cairoli better starts to speed up if he wants the overall win

The competition is so tight unless you get a good start you are knackered. Good weekends racing though especially those first 2 motos

Herlings gets the overall, who would of thought that after the first moto. Defiantly starting to prove himself.

Damned, championship classification would most likely be very tight without Herlings' early season hand injury. Looking at the results of the first 5 rounds it's easy to see he wasn't at his normal level. Counting from round 6 Herlings would lead by 2 points now. From the round 5 Cairoli would lead by 20.

I saw the last 2 laps of MXGP moto 1 that was some great racing, what happened to Tonus in Moto 2?

yeah ..maybe he did but he wasnt fit and that was hurting him more
injuries are tough , look at Cairoli the last 2 seasons . Look at him this season , fit and looking better as ever before . Look at gajser right now , off the pace. MXGP is stacked , you need to be 110% to win or podium
Herlings started injured and had a very tough start of the season , still improving but his starts are terrible 9 out of 10

You could have a drinking game every weekend the amount of times Malin mentions it!

started in 11th place and went down on top of the tunnel jump. while trying to get back to his bike he was hit by another rider coming through. Looks like broken collar bone from what I've heard.

I had to watch the 2nd race delayed but Seewer is an absolute idiot and a danger for anyone out there

Having just witnessed a race live i will say that what you see on tv is only a key hole of what happens at a pro race. A track can be legitimately said to be one lined only for riders who are of a very very similar speed, but if a rider is faster than another and MOTIVATED to pass, he will find a way. I saw literally tons of passing in all 4 motos today. You have to factor other things in when assessing a track. I realise home track riders are willing to go that extra bit...but they do prove passing is always possible if you want to get by. I feel often on tv we only see title contenders on screen. Their calculus is more complicated. Some tracks are more easy to pass on than others, but one thing remains constant; if u are marginally faster, you will find a way through.

Just wondering how Covington would have done today on the hardpack vs the MXGP guys? There was a stacked freight train from 4-15th and all former winners or podium regulars. One screw up and you're just fighting to get a point, basically your upcoming MXoN line up.

He always kind have those crazy moves or almost crashing, but the 2nd moto today was absolute totally crazy, all over the place and later almost jump into Østlund and later he jumps into Lieber.

I'm by far not in those guys fitness or speed level but if i was there and he did to me what he did to Lieber or Ostlund. i would have waited and punted him of the track and made sure he would not resume the race by any means i could be able to. I would keep running him over until he walked back to the pits, that guy is a DANGER on track he never ever keeps his lines cross jumps at every race how long before he ends a other rider his career by his stupidity.

Sure let me be childish, you would not be talking that way if Ostlund was seriously injured. It's not that this race was a stand alone fact it has happend numerous times before and it will happen again. I'm the last too rant on a silly mistake because sometimes accidents happen but Seewer is doing it for years now and almost every race it's just dangerous as hell and this time i just had it with this guy.
