Will Villopoto go undefeated in the Nationals

Alessi, Villopoto and Grant are gonna do some good battling... I like the Nationals more than SX, core motocross

If Alessi rides like he did last yr or even better, forget your day dream.

Should be good racing; don't forget Grant, Byrne may very well be up there with Short and Millsaps.....Dungey on a 450...? He beat RV straight up at the end of series last yr.

And don't count out you know who.

Name one national last year that Dungey caught and Passed RV.... The only times he beat Rv is when RV was on the ground

You are 100% correct. RV was better than Dungey all yr but not by much.

I think he might go undefeated, Villopoto is the most impressive MX rider I´ve seen in a long time. I dont know who could beat him? Flame away Smile Bobby, sorry to say, but RV might even lap Alessi Wink

Odds:

Wins the Championship - 1 to 1

Goes undefeated - 10 to 1

Not likely. But he will more than win the championship.

Im in Bobby M!

How about just a simple bet that Villopoto finishes in front of the #800 in the final points?

The great outdoors are going to be awesome this year without js/cr. I always go for the underdog/rookie. I have cheared for MA the past two years but the rookie RV is going to prevail due to superior mental strength and the uncany ability to wipe his own ass with out the help of his dad.

If you're talkin about racing dirt bikes this summer I'm in. But "smoking all comers" has me worried about the lad.

I agree with JS, but Reed would have nothing for Rv & MA outdoors.

Stewart can beat RV but it wont be as easy as some of you think expecially if he is only riding 2 or 3 rounds. I think Poto and Alessi will settle this one out. I don't think he will go undefeated either. Reed is defiantely a better SX rider but Poto will beat him outside. I know Reed was just getting acquianted with his new Suzuki but did y'all not see Poto suck the yellow off that bike when he passed him at the Des Nations?

Now this is all an assumption that he acclumates to the 450 seamlessly..

Poto has only been passed by Stewart & Reed in SX this year, he manged to pass everyone else with almost ease.

You are underestimating how fast Chad Reed is.

If you mean 24-0, I don't think that will happen, but I agree that as the situation looks, with an absent Stew, I see the possible he wins them all (but not 24-0).
I get the impression that people might have problems accepting this suggestion, because of the messenger? Wink
If Stew enters one race, I say RV is toasted, and if things looks to good for RV, James might become a mocker as consequence? Smile
I don't see RV as a supercross racer, and to try to extrapolate his and others supercross results to MX is rather preposterous.

Reed came off the couch to get 3rd behind JS and RC at budds 07.

But I'm expecting an all out dogfight between villo and alessi, and reed if he shows up.

And when was this goridetwo?Because if your talking about last week, short had a
almost unsurmountable 8 second lead on RV with 5 laps to go and beat him by a
gentlemanly whisker.

Funny, the results only show results, not excuses or whiskers. Gentlemanly was his fault. Coulda punted Short if he wanted that position.

Yeah, yeah, give RV the MX Nats before they happen; even 24-0 too.

Alessi was the only one close to James on a his familiar KXF last season.

Long as he doesn't get hurt, it will a race to the finish....of the season.

Yes he will!!!!! Villopoto is the man!!!!! 12-0

There was no reason to punt short, the season is still early.

I'm predicting Poto will finish second at Atlanta, and I'll be there to witness it first hand.

Alessi can't hang with Poto. The only one who can beat him out doors isn't riding the nationals this year. And that's Stewart.

Not at all, maybe I was unclear? I get the impression you got more heat than necessary for your suggestion.

Just saying...
