Has anyone found the best place to send them some encouragement?

Their crew can communicate with them via wireless ear pieces and over the follow-car loudspeakers. It's real common for crews to read Facebook messages to the riders as encouragement as they roll along.

NICE RIG!
It's set up so that Bailey or Henry can ride right up into the back doors. They secure their rig and then drive forward to the next transition point.

What about those of us that refuse to log into Facebook, how do we get updated pics and things over and above the SPOT tracking link?

Some or the content is going to www.RAAMMedia.com. Most of it will get put there as things wind down. But for the most part 90% of the content goes straight to Facebook. It's an easier platform to use for RAAM Media which is basically three Dodge Caravans, each staffed with a videographer, photojournalist, a driver and a MiFi.

Try Facebook, you can always nuke the account after the boys reach Annapolis, which will be LiveStreamed.

Yes. Kits will be available through Elliel brand clothing out of SoCal after RAAM and yes, sales will benefit Road2Recovery.
Let me know when those kits are available, would love one to support R2R.

I'm hoping they come thru my area (Dieterich, Ste Marie IL) when I can go get a picture of them. they go less than a tenth of a mile from my business and about 5 miles from my house. I still haven't figured out how to tell what place they are in. is there a different link for that somewhere?

There are two ways. On the Live Tracking go to the right and scroll down to their category, 4-person age 50-59 or go to the Leaderboard at this link: http://www.raceacrossamerica.org/results.html

FROM THE LEGENDS OF THE ROAD FACEBOOK

Update! The Legends made a pass earlier today! They are now 20 miles ahead of Team Brasil (420) and 40 miles behind Team Plantagents (409). Pretty awesome considering the rough start the team endured. 35 Race Teams (combined Solo and Teams) have DNFd so far. This race is no joke and this a HUGE accomplishment for Wardy, Bailey, Henry, and Dymond!!!!

Would also like to give a huge Congrats to Race Across America Solo record holder Christoph Strasser for his 4th Win. The Solos started on June 13th. Christoph completed the 3,070-mile race in 8 days 9 hours and 34 minutes!!! (Christoph was not able to race last year because he was hit by a car while training). Way to bounce back Sir Strasser, and Let's Go Legends!! #RAAM #UltraEnduranceCycling #TheLegendsOfTheRoad

The Legend have been to Sullivan, Indiana and have now put over 2300 miles between them and Oceanside, California. Less than 700 miles to go.

I don't think people realize how huge of a challenge this is and what these guys are accomplishing. And not just the 4 of them but the whole team behind them keeping the show moving, handling logistics, keeping the riders safe, etc.

Bravo to everyone involved.

I got to spend some time with them yesterday in Indiana. The bikes that David and Doug are on are just uber cool. Was able to spend a little bit of time with them and the crew, its been an amazing journey for them and the rain was just a small part of it. These guys are legends for sure!!!
