Just a quick note of thanks to whoever strategically placed those ground-level cameras at Thunder Valley, especially the uphill/jump where BB made his move on Tomac. That angle demonstrated the intensity of the battle and the ferocity at which Blake attacked the track. The entire presentation was top-notch, capped by Jason & Grant's enthusiastic play-by-play. Really a terrific performance from everyone involved.

That pass when BB went outside around the top of that embankment in Moto 2 was absolutely one of the most bad ass passes I have ever watched... camera work was awesome!!!

Much better than the Kamloops camera operator......I think they hired Stevie Wonder for the job up there!

Those angles were excellent. Conversely, some of the overhead human-operated angles were frequently way out of focus.

I was standing right below one as the 2nd motos were about to start, and the camera guy was up there practicing his moves, sweeping the camera from left to right like he was following a battle on the track...

Now that Baggett has unlocked that hip line, like he did at Hangtown years ago, they will probably replace it with a triple step up. Grinning

I really liked when they landed off the jump and the camera was right on the ground at the edge of track, sounded so cool with like 3 or 4 250 guys landing pinned and going by.

I'm always amazed how these guys catch nearly everything that happens (regardless if it's during a battle or in the background).

After the Washougal National a couple years ago I found as many camera toters as I could and told them that they did a great job and that I appreciated that A LOT! I then told 'em that I knew that countless others thought the same thing (if they were conscious of what coverage like that entails) but couldn't tell them that in person. I still think the camera dudes on the ground panning and following and whatnot make coverage of the races a lot better. Tell those guys (and/or girls) what a great job they do!
