Anybody heading to the mountains this summer to ride? Doing my 3rd consecutive trip in August. Man, I am jonesin and can't wait till it gets here. Trail riding in the mountains with your buddy's is just an insane amount of fun. I've been watching Youtube videos and perusing photos on the net to help quell my excitement until August arrives.

I'll be in the mountains a lot this summer....as soon as the darn snow melts anyway.

Mountain single track is so much fun!

We rode out of Taylor Park Reservoir a couple years ago. Great area to ride. Hoping to be back out that way later this summer too

Not much here till probably July 4th and that will be at lower elevations below 9K
Still 15-22 feet of snow and up to 50 feet in some spots.

I'll be riding single track all summer. And fall. And usually winter, but I'm moving to E. WA next month and will need a snow bike kit for that now.

Where are you going in August? I've been slacking lately, but I usually take 2-4 weeks every year and ride somewhere new out West, but this move is killing me this year. I'll be relocating to the Spokane/Cda area June 24th, so anyone in the area (or wants to ride in the area) holler at me

We're staying in the Crested Butte area and will be riding Taylor Park. We're also planning to head over to Ouray/Ridgway and ride the Uncompahgre.

Damn I'm jealous, you guys have been riding some beautiful terrain. I've been trapped in my desk chair for way too long now...need to get out again soon before I rot and die in this chair. Here's an old one from south of the border:
