He won the title by the smallest hair on his chin, why TF would he come back? He was an awesome racer, but seriously, watching him ride was nothing for you to splooge about

Dunge is much more relaxed and candid then when he spoke at the press release. I'm not sure Ryan knows just how he feels about retiring yet. One sunny day out on the lake may lead to an itch he'll have to ignore.
Is it just me, or does RD in the video seem like some dude that's never come close to swinging a leg over a dirt bike? I'm fooled by the clean look even though I know better.

i can see him racing a little after he starts a family...not in pro mx or sx but, maybe a local hare scramble, maybe a gncc. His passion for riding is still there...he just realized the mental part of racing at that level got to be too much for him. His ego is not so big that racing locally will be beneath him.
I think the industry is going to be blessed with Ryan Dungey's precense on a limited basis for decades to come. And that's a wonderful thing.

Because no retired professional riders have never came back and ridden a local hare-scramble to have fun with some friends. Sorry i ruined your day.
