The accusation now is that he is using tricky wording. That he is a made in USA manufacturer but his hoses are actually Made in China?
American owned does not equal American Made!

Yes. It does not specifically say that.

Just as fuzzy as everything else posted elsewhere in the thread re. 'Made in USA' does not necessarily mean that for reals.

Not saying they are or aren't - I have no idea about that - just that that doesn't say with certainty. IMO.

Not sure why people are saying the law is fuzzy.

The FTC website seems pretty clear to me.

"Made in USA means that “all or virtually all” the product has been made in America. That is, all significant parts, processing, and labor that go into the product must be of U.S. origin. Products should not contain any – or should contain only negligible – foreign content."

Should be a simple answer to a simple question . You can say its not made in china which still leaves how many other countries that produce products with damn near slave labor. Anyone who makes or has a product made in the USA would be proud to prove it .

'or virtually all'

'or should contain only negligible'

Fuzziness.

See Harley & other related mentions earlier in the thread - a debate such as this which has been carried on for years on all kinds of goods all over the place shouldn't be if things were clear cut.

Think I also agree with Mr.X above - IMO anybody really making & selling a product that is truly Made in USA would be rightly proud of that & wanting to back it up with real info.

True. There is one very obvious absence from this thread.

I think that perhaps by not having an answer, we have our answer.
