Love when the GP's go to Europe.

Stephen Rubini in EMX250, a step done to boost confidence or was that always the plan?

No Maxmine Renaux - injured??

No Roan Van De Moossdijk - been riding a 250f, injured or staying in EMX125?

Lewis Gregory making use of the rule change & riding 2 stroke in the EMX class.

Roan vd Moosdijk was supposed to ride EMX250 but he broke his ankle in a really bad way a few weeks ago at ONK Harfsen.

Renaux and Van de Moosdijk are injured indeed. Don't know what the initial plan with Rubini was, but going from 125s to MX2 seemed a big step, so I guess EMX won't hurt his experience.

Looking forward to see Geerts and Pichon riding the 4-stroke on a high level.

Renaux broke his arm at Saint Jean D'angely three weeks ago, out for three months.

Man i am hyped up about Jago Geerts! He's looked good so far in all the pre-season stuff even hanging with some of the MX2 riders so he should be good.

Bummer for Van De Moosdijk, saw him ride at ONK Axel and that kid is unreal in the sand!!

Hyped for the Euro GP rounds Cool

Great to see this kind of a turnout in all classes. When is the last time there has been full gates in both MX1 and MX2? It's been a while.
And I'm so stoked for this EMX250 race. 86 guys? And look at the names in there! The difference between the first and last qualifiers for the main races can't be much more than 3 seconds. Gonna be some tight racing, and really excited to see the Finnish boys out there with high expectations!

Jeez that tough, that's the second time or third time he's broke his arm.

Was he btw still going to ride emx or make the jump to mx2 like the other top guys from last year? He did pretty good at Assen if I remember correctly. Bummer to see him out again.

EMX250 is a stacked class. Seriously.

I feel bad for those kids that will qualify in 41th-60th. They are probably only a few tenths off making it for the motos.

Yeah, indeed.

Sabulis, Natzke, Charboneau, Fernández, Weltin, Bengtsson, Geerts, Pichon, Beaton, Rubini, Pocock, Sihvonen, Furbetta, Meier, Savaste, Kouwenberg, Bourdon,.... They all seem capable of winning or taking a podium through the season. And then we are still missing Renaux and Van de Moosdijk. Could be a stunning season in this class!

I would put Haavisto in that group also, he has the speed but he is a really bad starter and makes too many mistakes. He has been pretty much the same pace as Geerts in the pre season races!

Could be, I hope so for him. It seemed he had some difficulties to adapt after leaving the Honda-series straight away to EMX250 a few seasons ago.

And Dercrourt/Goupillon...

I would have picked Boisrame for the win as he was much faster than Dercourt/Charbonneau/Weltin at Saint Jean 3 weeks ago but since he is injured, I'm going with TC60.

Seriously excited for this weekend! EMX250 line up is crazy. Hoping for a solid year for Pocock, good to see him getting back to top form lately!

TL;DR: his confidence is gone (it's an interesting read though so read it).

I think you can add Getteman to that list as an ex-GP rider.

I hope it's not anxiety leading to panic attacks due to being away from home for Mewes. That illness takes your life away

I think you can add Getteman to that list as an ex-GP rider.
I don't know if he will race the entire championship. At the sandraces he will be a competitor, indeed. But Getteman is far too inconsistent and injury prone to battle for the title I'm afraid.

I feel bad for those kids that will qualify in 41th-60th. They are probably only a few tenths off making it for the motos.

Cislaghi, Fernandez, Weltin, Getteman
Add a few more like Nijenhuis when we go to the sandy rounds.
That class is crazy. There will be some decent riders not making the top40

No Maxmine Renaux - injured??

No Roan Van De Moossdijk - been riding a 250f, injured or staying in EMX125?

Lewis Gregory making use of the rule change & riding 2 stroke in the EMX class.
Lewis Gregory was at a track near me last week and I asked him to wear my go pro for a session.

Unfortunately I forgot to put the rubber clip in so there is a lot of 'knocking' noise.
