Last I seen he was defending his title by leading the points for the 2017 sx season and coming off 2nd place in the outdoor series for factory KTM. Haven't heard anything from his camp out retirement, just the rumor on vitalmx...
You have no knowledge to when Dungey may or may not retire. Just like you have no knowledge of when Davalos may or may not retire. For all we know they both could retire the end of this year, next , the year after....
I think it would be safer to say that both are at the end of their own respectful careers as a motocross racer and bag on one for being in a different class. Not

The actually funny part of it was the video had Dungey in it from 8 years ago and Dungey is getting ready to retire. But Davalos still in the lites class.

Fact> It is his choice how to market himself and earn a living the way he seems fit. Companies still give him a contract to ride a 250, so he must have some value there. If Davalos held the same job, punching a clock and wearing a tie every day for the past 11 years he would be applauded as responsible and working towards his future.

Last I checked, in the US we still have the choice to work as or when we please. Kind of what Davalos is doing.
