I'm good mates with the guy, he came back after the west coast rounds, did a bit of the mx series back in Aus and pulled out due to a illness/virus he has been struggling with for a couple years and from the sounds of it doctors can't figure it out.
He has opened up a track in his home town and running that with his old man while he takes some time off.
Real bummer because the dude has the speed for sure, just had health issues holding him back

Thanks for the info...guy was like the only legit privateer making the mains last year..was hoping he would get a ride this year...hope he recovers from this illness...thx for sharing mate

I remember he was like the only privateer in the main at A1 in 2016, he was solid.

He was a legit privateer in every sense, rocked up with some bolt on parts from his bike at home and got a stock 450 and did work.
Still impressive how well his starts were considering the bike he was on.
