Seven compression gear, with under armor

Hi, is anyone running the new seven compression gear? If so, are you wearing any armour underneath? Like fox proframe, or alpinestars a8 (without shoulder options)? Under a normal jersey, this armour fits nicely.

I'm keen to buy some, but not wanting to look like a football player.

It would be awesome if you have any pics wearing the gear with under armour as well.

Thanks!

Dude, the compression shirt has a bib that goes over it. You put your armor between the compression jersey and the bib. If you're wearing shoulder pads or those jackets with the elbow pads, you need moose gear.

I won't ride without elbow guards (since I smashed up my elbow. Never fully recovered), so it's a no go. They'll fit under the compression arms, but look hideous, bulging out. Shoulder guards also.
A slim roost guard will fit, but it's visible. Better to go up a size in the jersey, or find some gear with a more traditional fit.
It seems modern gear isn't being designed with protection in mind these days. Just skinny fit and materials that fail after a light fall.

You need some SoCal gear from circus 2003. Those arms could fit my quads in them, I swear to god.

Yeah mate, I'm wondering if it still looks bulky under that bib or not, and can you see the armour underneath it from the side?

"A slim roost guard will fit, but it's visible" - don't happen to have a photo of this? Like is it visible on the sides?

I'm basically running this (the below is the a10, but I'm running a a8 without shoulder guards very similar):

I don't have any photos.
With these athletic fit jerseys, even a slim chest protector is slightly visible, but it also depends on your body type. Nothing hides well with athletic fit jerseys if you're stocky/muscular. I'd recommend going a size up.

I use the Scott softcon vest:

and i think it works great (under the bib, not under the compression layer):

I wear an ufo reactor 2 or a fox proframe under it and it fits well. With the proframe it is a little more bulky to see, as i removed my shoulder pads of my ufo protector

I've got 3 rides in some seven gear and the knees are wearing through already. This modern shit just doesn't last.
Had the same problem with fly hydrogen lite.
Back to some bottom shelf Thor or o'neil that lasts a season..lol
