Milestone's 2018 Official Supercross Video Game should be announced at GDC February 27th - March 3!

Judging from the video they didn't address the crappy game physics. That's a damn shame.

They never said in the barn pros video that was the name of the game, it just said 2018 official supercross video game scanning. I think they will be adding our supercross series to this game with actual tracks, riders, teams. I could be wrong
I don't think so. Then again we know I've been wrong before. But if they were including Supercross it would be a focal point of the intro especially since this was Milestone's first GDC and in the US.

I don't see both series in one game.

I still think later in the year we'll get an announcement on 2018 Supercross.

THIS! ^^^^

Hard to play with your buddies online when no one can block pass, or bang bars without wrecking.

Anyone annoyed with the amount of roost in some of those shots? Some tracks it seemed too drastic.

Love two strokes and the weather feature, and it seems they fixed the problem with diving to the inside so for me it should be awesome.

Yup, picked up MX Sim for a bit the other day when my buddy was playing it. Why play a game that is harder than the real-life sport it is simulating? I can appreciate the effort put in by those guys to make that game and build a following, but that will never be anything more than a niche within a niche.
Harder than real life? I could never ride a SX track IRL like I can in MX Sim.

BTW, I know there has been mention of making "stock settings" more use-able in MX Sim. So hopefully that helps some people out soon.

Why do people keep thinking that the AMA would want their Supercross series in an MXGP game? It's literally two separate motocross series. That's like if there was a game called "American Motocross Series The Game" and then had an MXGP game mode within that game. It makes absolutely zero sense. This game is about the Motocross Grand Prix Series, and only the MXGP series. If an official Supercross game ever comes out from Milestone, it'll be its own game. I don't get why people think that A game titled "MXGP" would have an AMA game mode inside of it. Now if the game was called "Motocross: An FIM Video game" I could see it. But maybe I'm completely wrong.

I seriously doubt it will be any part of MXGP. That makes no sense. Supercross will be it's own franchise.

Notice the lack of Stadium series in 3 or at least no mention. Probably saving all that for their Supercross game.

What a let down it will be if they didn't change the physics for MXGP 3.

I wasn't impressed at all by MXGP 2.

MXGP1 > MXGP2. I seem to be in the minority on that opinion though. Either way I'm stoked for MXGP3

Just changing the weather up is huge for me. Makes the game that more dynamic. Looks like the physics are pretty similar but thats not a horrible thing. Seems like they keep making a new one every year. Thats nothing but good news for MX fans.

Im super curious how you guys can tell the physics are the same and it sucks without playing it? They look much better to me.

Because I've played the game a lot, and it's pretty obvious honestly. Many instances you can see the canned whips in gameplay clips. Also, it's pretty easy to see that in air physics haven't changed, and that's been the number one gripe going on 3 years now. The bikes still come off jumps with this neutral attitude that doesn't really change (or can be changed) much at all because there is no gas/brake gyro. You can yaw the bike a little, but that's about it. They've made leaps and bounds with graphics these past three years, but the physics are stagnant and that needs to change. In the MXGP 2 tutorial on how to brake tap, they use a clip where the bike gets bucked to make it look like the front is dipping noticeably, but in reality hitting the back brake does NOTHING, if you hold it down it changes the attitude ever so slightly.

The general consensus I get is that most like the physics and are hoping for minor tweaks, rather than a full-blown change. I think they're great, and a little more freedom/less float in the air would make a great game just about perfect.

From those clips it appears that the bike has 80hp and no knobbys in the forward direction.

Now I'm not as excited. To be fair though, the last pre-release video of an MX game, that blew me away, was reflex...and all know how this story ends.

It just saddens me that tech has evolved, but the MX games seem to have gone backwards.

Doesn't look like it has much fun factor at all. Slow, heavy, and clunky.

This game already looks better then GP2 they way the rider and bike reacts to the track looks way better in this installment then in last years your rider seemed to always like to brake slide and loose traction out of corners ultimately "flat tracking" around corners.
This one looks to of fixed the bouncing around and corner issue hugging ruts better and what not plus the in air looks a little more fluent yes it could still use some work but that nothing a few tweaks can fix later on it is looking pretty solid so far!

I actually think this game looks pretty sweet. Finally fixed the engine sounds a bit (which should have been an easy fix for mxgp2) Looks like more track degro as well. Is this not the first moto game that has different weather options. That's got me excited.

I'm not 100% sure how I feel about this so far. We'll see. Luckily it's just video games, I hardly play any as it is.
