Great read! I have the entire 96 sx season in vhs! Those races were epic...my riding buddies would all get together & watch the races on espn2...2 strokes...Bailey in the booth...epic....SX & MX was on a huge upswing. I wanted someone to beat MC so bad! No denying, MC raised the bar & brought SX into the mainstream......

Matthes did another article in the same format about something else a while back. I can't remember what it was, but it was really good too.

Might have been the one on the Pro Circuit teams switch from Honda to Kawasaki. Great article also.
